Hi Harry, first off, absolutely love the channel, I’m primarily a footballer but run to keep fit and your videos really inspire me to do that. Not to mention how entertaining and funny they are. Just wanted to write a comment and let you know about a really talented and young runner I came across on KZbin the other week. Her name is @isabellesparkle and she is unbelievable for her age. Thought it might be cool for you guys to do a collab some time. Anyway, thanks for always putting out brilliant content Harry!

@@RhysRuns Judging on your question I suppose you are close to it. What I did to lower my pb was to allow myself to run hard in some runs. I imagined I had a mid week parkrun and I gave it all. 1-2 times every week I tried to push a bit extra and try stuff. Don’t do it too often though because if you are not recovering then you can’t get the extra push you want. Also Harry had a vid on warmup before running a 5K and without that info I wouldn’t have made it to sub 20 and now chasing sub 19 with a 19:05 as pb. Good luck

Living in FL I'm very familiar with running in the sand, been doing it my whole life. Fortunately we don't have the rocks, so you can run barefoot if that's your thing. Good training though, and certainly makes running on tarmac seem much easier. Congrats to Harley and the rest of the Jog On crew for a great run.

You should check out Somerdale Pavilion parkrun near Bristol. It’s known as the curly wurly parkrun and is one of the strangest courses I’ve seen!

Great video! I like to think our local Parkrun (North Bay, Ontario, Canada) can be both the fastest in the world and toughest in the world. In late spring through early fall the course is a fairly straight, paved, out and back with minimal elevation (speed!!!). In January it may have 20cm or more fluffy snow on it though and we have done a few below -20 Celsius days (slow, and frozen eyelashes!!!). I hope to do some Parkrun tourism as our kids start leaving the nest and we’ve got a bit more flexibility.

I ran Durlston 2 weeks ago and they claim to be the hilliest. The other contender would be Whinlatter Forest, but Durlston took my time from 21 mins to 26.33 and I didn't walk so I'm hoping they are right as I'm running GYNB and Whinlatter in August.

I did the Hafan Pwllheli Parkrun towards the end of last year, thta was hard enough, didn't help the tide was coming in at the time either, as soon as you feel like you're getting some momentum you lose it as you hit some loose sand, good fun though

The guy that handed you your bar code is ira Smith he's a very interesting man with a lot off running stories he was one of the first men in Yarmouth to complete a 100k run and nearly run a 2:20 London marathon and had ran all over the world his garage is a shine to running also he a loverly man oh and great video well done 👏

A great point - simply that it was very difficult on the first lap so figured we'd try a different approach on the second, it turned out to be no easier whatsoever - it's tough wherever you run at GY!
