I am a daughter and granddaughter of veterans, who served this country. Paid their taxes, and helped their fellow citizens throughout their lives. I was raised to be of service to my community, I never was able to make over 30, 000 per year in my working life, but managed to give to charity and serve my community. Now retired, I am $900.00 short every month from being able to meet my basic needs. Immigrants, who have added nothing in their lifetimes are getting almost 5 times my pension! The GST on groceries is nothing. I saw two receipts a couple of dudes posted on X. One guy's Superstore bill came to $96.40. GST was $1.85 and PST was $1.75. There was another guy. His bill came to $488.20 Plus GST... $1.39. For a total of $489.59. With this so called "tax break" he will save $1.39 on almost $500. Ya, no. Keep your "tax break" and give us an election
