Attempting To Detail My W124 At A Supermarket Jet Wash

Wish we had big self wash stations like america because the ones we have in the uk are just to small and only for a quick wash and people always waiting or staff saying not allowed to use your own wash mitt or you taking to long how can you relax and enjoy detailing your car with sumone else eyeballing you in the que so i just do it my self at home or at my mates unit ❤❤❤

I wish my local Supermarkets Jet wash was this quietly populated. Every time I clean my car and get all my products out I get someone pulling up to queue behind me or asking me how long I’m going to be 🤣

I'm assuming the real key to this isn't so much about using sams products (although they are bangin!) But that you don't need a shed full of kit... but also to never ever eeeeeever use the hot foaming yard broom of doom!

Great video. Silly question but if youre short for time is it safe to prewash a car and rinse with water inbetween a full wash or should a full wash always come after a prewash? Thanks

I already do this, wish my local jet wash was this quiet.. at least this one works, one time I did all my citrus pre wash and wheel wash went to start the jet wash and it was out of order ... Fantastic 😂

You can use it both ways! If you looking to get maximum gloss I would go in dry and buff off with a microfibre. But if you just want a pop of gloss to finish off the detail, go on a wet surface and use a drying towel :)

Add an IK sprayer for foam, or a Carbon Collective battery foam sprayer. And some patient people to queue up behind you….

For me I personnely don't want to carry 2 buckets of water in my car, is their a simpler way just to keep the car tidy and protected? All I managed today was a gentle cold rinse, foam nozzle spray (garage setting) and then rinse, unfortunatley no micro fibres/drying towels and no protection yet only bought the car a week ago!

One thing to keep in mind... if you're going to do this, don't do it when it's busy. Do it in the late evening or in the early morning because the owner won't like you parked in one of the bays.
