I was raised protestant and told horrible things about RC: thru reading my Bible for years THIS is exactly what I believe! I even used the pie analogy to explain what I learned when my adult son died in 2009 at 28yeasr! God's love is just on - no off switch- it's all his love, always. It amazes me - God is so good ❤

Oh - lol. I never got covid (it did go thru our house), never got vaccinated and the same types of questions- like "since you won't get the vaccine, I should be Injected with the live virus, when would I like to schedule it for" - I was too busy judging them and didn't answer right. I wish I said, sure! As long as you recognize Jesus as God if I don't catch it still. Maybe someday I'll be able to get over my shock at the evil in this world. It shouldn't stun me, Jesus told us and showed us!

God Bless You Father Wilton! Wow!! We need to hear homilies like yours EVERY day!! Everything you said is 100 percent TRUE! Everything! The fact that Francis and most of the Hierarchy are clearly (as evidenced by their actions) following the World and not Our Lord Jesus Christ becomes more evident by the day. Thank you so much and God Bless You for being one of the FEW Good Shepherds who Our Lord and Blessed Mother sent to us for just these times🙏🙏🙏. The Truth is the Truth is the Truth……and Francis and the Hierarchy can NOT change Our Lord’s Truth. Their efforts to do so will ultimately fail….Our Lord and Our Blessed have already won the battle against Satan….Satan is running the World for a short time now….but, as the Saintly Archbishop Sheen said, Satan may have his hour but Our Lord has already won the battle! Viva Christo Rey! God Bless You Father Wilton!

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen. -- St. Francis of Assisi

I'm one of those dirty protestants, but still appreciate this message. People love to ignore the "love God" commandment, and just focus on "loving your neighbor". Is it really loving your neighbor though if you saw their lifestyle was directing them on the path to eternal damnation? You saw the direction they were headed but didn't want to say anything because we've been trained to associate love with not hurting anyone's feeling.

Praise be to God for inspiring you such powerful homilies, Father Wilton. I beg to disagree on one point, though. No, you don't pray to win one Muslim to Christ. You just humbly pray that folks practice their own religion to the hilt, like we should ours. Because no faith calls on the brethren to kill or demean one's neighbor, one's brother. Devout Muslims, like devout Christians or devout Buddhists, are the most harmless of people. My gratitude for your blessed sermons, Fr. Wilton.

"Every human being is our neighbor." Some are just more important than others. The good priest is a comedian. God only speaks to those on the right. How touching to hear him during his subtle exclusion of the "others." If humankind could only return to the safety of the 50's. The joyful embracing of America and yesteryear. When Americans had the "help." Embracing the joy of Baltimore catechism. Everything was black or white. Perhaps he could write a Gospel of the John Birch society?

They, like I, have lost faith, NOT in Jesus but in the very institution that professes to teach us his word. The gospel should reflect our day to day lives. Jesus's words lifted us and enthralled us to something beyond our compression and to aspire to be the best person we could be with no prejudice or self-righteousnes. The Catholic Church has lost it's members because of self important Clergy who lack the ability to reach it's members. There are some, but unfortunately not many. I never have a sense of being welcome when I enter a Catholic Church just a sense of being guilty you were ever born. I don't ever think that was Jesus's intention.

And I can continue, BE THE CHANGE THE CHURCH NEEDS, You can be a great example of change and believe me you will find a beautiful community to learn from..

What changes when instead of looking for what we get out of a Mass, or who welcomes us at the door... we reverently enter Our Lord's house at His invitation, He greets us and invites us to participate at the solemn re-presentation of His sacrifice on Calvary, and to receive His body and blood in the Holy Eucharist.... certainly changed how i walk into my Church every Sunday...

Pray for our Country, our Unborn, our Liberty and please pray to our Immaculata Mother Mary. Love one another including your enemies. Leave the rest at the foot of the Cross. The Bishops shut the churches and then are surprised that people stop going to church! In our local parish church there is no holy water but there a new "sacramental" the hand sanitiser. The Catholic newspapers have been stopped even the atheist papers are on sale in the local shops. We go to the Society of Saint Pius X rather our local parish church but even there the Catholic spirit is not as strong as it was in the 1980s.

The woke culture or the cancel culture? I'm really disappointed Fr David Wilton doesn't say anything about loving God in a woke culture, as the title of this video suggests. In his sermon, Fr Wilton says many things without justifying them, many things that I find extraordinarily tenouous. He mentions the word 'woke' only once. This is what he says: "And then there's this overwhelming fear caused by the woke society we live in. People are scared to death to be speaking about what God really expects of us, people are scared to death to speak the truth because of the consequences that they will suffer if they speak the truth about God because, you see, they might be labeled as someone who doesn't love someone, who may be a racist or a bigot or a white supremacist even. These are all absurd." I'm baffled as to how he reaches this conclusion. I think his conclusion is absurd but sadly Fr Wilton doesn't attempt to justify it. He leaves everyone to justify their own prejudices.

Jesus, who is God, was first asked what the greatest commandment was. When asked what the second greatest commandant was, he answered: it was to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. There is no misreading of scripture here: the question asked was not what were the first two commandments, but what were the two greatest..and Jesus answered.

OK, this is CATHOLICISM not Trumpism. You should be teaching what God says and not the Trump opinions you agree with like it's gospel. I'm not a Democrat. I have Republican values as far as Christian values go. I don't just blindly follow politics and politicians and their opinions should not be taught in the CATHOLIC CHURCH
