Hey Ash! In the first 10 seconds of this video, I hear a part of a song that I was totally in love with 10-15 years ago, what song is that?! Is that a Burial song? *edit* Ahh… 😌 “Archangel” by Burial.. 🕺🏻 Appreciate your content, I’m about to watch a ton of your videos on my plane ride 🙌🏼 ✈️

As always this "music track/DAW/video creation, education and production, uh video "training" "teaching" "professor -ing" eh f**k it - "taking ya ta school an droppin it on ya like pow, ping, boom - take dat ya dirty rat! You will never Master something like that. So sit back before ya give yourself a heart attack." "I can't even come close to "master" a fraction or even just the start of that! Damn, I suck I'm taking ALL this equipment back. It's just too much! Oh no really, wait who is this cat on youtube breaking it down so simple it's giving me a willie? Oh snap, wait I found the "One" the freakin "Neo" of Ableton. Cause "Neo, Allah, God or Son, help me with Ableton cause damn I'm fukin dumb." No seriously, I'm such a newb but I learn so much from your song breakdown, teardown, understand sound so that I'm not so dumb to sound anymore. So then I'm like "damn, dat video was pretty "f" reakin ( "ucking" - well ya know Catholics can't have the "ucking" next to the "f" or that would "f ucking" and that's just something "they" don't do around here, notice how I didn't put "them" letters together - the "double" spacing ahhhh) informative, fast and each effect I have to pause it. Then goto Ableton, find effect, hopefully have vst or effect, then play with the suggested setting, hear it and go "ahh, light bulb so this is how they do it." "Do it, do it! Run, get to the choppa! Do it now!" ... Anyway, this video is tight as always but I wasn't sure if allowed to tell how it really feels sometimes and certain words fit the part. It's kinda like, you know that's how "they" get around the whole joke about "why all the Bishops went to the market at the same time because they heard about a big sale of Bill Cosby's new product line similar to "Jello" snack packs but his was called, "Mello" and contains "Nuttin, Sticky, Dicky & Tricky" which he says is, "actual, real fruit sprinkles that come from his DIY backyard fruit farm & hand garden in sunny California." Scouts honor, tis a true story! I mean I'm just saying, "Mr producer/instructor/master grasshopper to weedhopper" youtuber title that I'm giving you since I'm not sure what your degree would actually title your expertise as or in, but several engineering degrees come to mind like audio, electrical, video, lighting, software to name a few. Anyway knowing a tiny bit about what it takes for you to put these together and not even touching on the 100's of 100's of possible ways, sounds, effects, verb & reverb and VST sounds like I've never heard but make me say, "wait how in the f**k did he do that? Or that drop to a "buzz" sub beat that made me feel the vibes in my chest. If only there was a way in which I could learn, understand and perhaps even try to create "Something Just Like This" but put my own style and my own storied twist and see if I can inspire myself with all of this. Who knows perhaps my friends who remember our life growing up like this, set to music with my honest seal of a kiss, cross my heart it all happened "just like this" would just be the shiznit. Oh snap, get back he even laid out a "how to make this track" roadmap! For real that sh*t is tight like a tiger stripe. The knowledge you have if I could, I mean, "well I just need to borrow your brain Pinky and then I can take over the world." "Like we tried to do yesterday, Brain?" "Yes, Pinky like we did yesterday! Except this time Pinky, I want to show you the rabbits..."

How did skrillex go from this to dubstep?
@ashFB2B11 ай бұрын
it was this + noisia + aphex twin that created his sound.

@@Dubbsteppa21 call me crazy but I don't think the song made here has any similarities to songs like "scary monsters and nice sprites" music evolution is weird ig
@Dubbsteppa2111 ай бұрын
@@ArkmageEDM ye its mainly the drum beat that dubstep gets from garage (2step garage to be precise) but its a half time drum beat so its not immediately obvious , also I'm pretty sure that song came out around about the time "brostep" was becoming popular so I imagine that influenced the sound quite alot
