You are literally a life saver mate, I've learnt a lot from your videos. You're way of teaching is fun but without wasting any second, I usually skip the sponsor part of every other youtubers but not yours, you does a great job in keeping your viewers entertained throughout the video. I'm glad I found you. Much love

I love your videos. You obviously spend time in the edits. Each time I walk away with more knowledge - no, more wisdom - Is there a Discord community? if not, make one. Your stuff is fire!

This video is really one of the best tutorials I've ever seen. The techniques are new and inspiring to me, like the "playable" part, and the music philosophy is also very helpful. Actually I had wanted to learn a lot of music theory before actually start producing because I have majored in maths, where a theorem must be proved seriously with all the basic knowledge, lemma, and trying to prove it without the preset knowledge is almost impossible. However for music this is not the case, and music theory is invented to make better music. Maybe I need to change my learning method. Anyways, thank you Ash!

You should do like a rough mixing one, like stuff that is common in all genres or in specific genres. Every mix is different but I think there are some common things

I always avoided chord progressions because for one, I wasn't brave enough to call attention to myself with intense chords and the other reason was exactly what you're saying lol. I'm ready now though.

12:05 is this now a minor instead of c major? Thanks for the tutorial im trying to understand an recreate these parts.
@ashFB2B2 жыл бұрын
both scales share the exact same notes so it the only difference is the "focus" of the song. does it sound more "minor"? then call it A minor oh it ends on the C? then call it C major all depends on the songwriter but at the end of the day its diff names for the same thing naming a scale isn't a rule its just way to describe the songwriting
