Was this done through OBD? I’m trying to do it for a 22 rogue but I’ve only seen it done through bypass cable

yea all done through obd2 with standard cable. This is not a rogue though, probably different systems.

Hi im a automotive Locksmith in Canada never been done a 22Nissan but have a customer that wants a second key for 22 Nissan kicks will i be able to do it with my im 508? Can the 508 pull the pin?

The video is AKL for a 22 Kicks with the im608 so yes you should be able to do the job. instead of toughing the button with 1 key, you'll be touching the button with one, turning it off, touching it with second, turning it off, then continuing with first one to close out the cycle.

pretty much same thing, you just have to add the second one to button before for closing system out

do you have to have internet connection for your IM608 to work?

You can do a lot of stuff with out internet access or a im608 subscription but for much of the newer stuff you will need net and a yearly subscription. For this particular Nissan it looks like you can do it with im608 offline but but you would need to convert the 20 digit pin externally (using something like nastf).

@@ecurepair I have a current subscription, but since the last update I am unable to use my IM608 without being connected to the internet. Also it keeps prompting me to create a login password for the scanner.

​@@davidkelly3964 If your doing VIN decoding for auto selection then that uses net. You will have to do manual selection with no net.

@@ecurepair I'm not explaining myself very well here. When I boot up my IM608 and it takes me to the main screen. I can select IMMO, Diagnostics etc. No matter what function I select, my next screen is a prompt telling me that I have to have internet access to continue. This is new for me.

Set a simple pin to get rid of the set password error, something like 0000, But the net problem you should call Autel support cause that's not normal. autel.com/us/contact/ . I expect they'll have you delete some stuff using file manager then redownload it using the update function.
