Honestly, im a HUGE fan of Rarity Collection 1 and 2 just for the sake of giving players that WANT to play yugioh for the first time (or are returning from years ago) a buy in to some really powerful staples and some decent fan favorite monsters to help them build a decent deck to use against thier friends. I haven't played physical Yu-Gi-Oh in like a decade but THIS is what I wish more TCGs would do, so people could stop making the "chase" cards over priced with no hope for people to ever get without spending tons of money. The cards coming in multiple rarities is also awesome because id rather have a playable copy of a standard card with no treatments VS a super shiny version of a card that only comes in that really hard to pull version, just because people make really expensive online. I get why people that invest in yugioh want things to retain thier value, but its stuff like this that makes new interested players shy away from ever trying card games. I know a handful of individuals that are like "nah, I thought about playing again but I dont want to have to buy all the necessary stuff I've seen to maybe enjoy myself at locals/against friends" Maybe that's a hot take, but I'd like card games to be more ACCESSIBLE instead of requiring an arm and leg to play on a semi decent level. There are a lot of beginner products, but most of those never end up being more than an introduction, and dont seem to come with anything universally usable in a new personally built deck. This is the first time I'm actually considering hopping back into the game after many years (even thought buying these sets is super expensive online ofc) so I feel like they're doing something right here.

The price is definitely what’s hurting this set the most. I’ve said it before but $110+ for a non-mini box set is too much. One thing I will say is that to whoever was expecting SP Little Knight is this set is: You do realize it already has a Quarter Century Secret Rare right? Why would they decide to give it a 2nd without it having an alt art?

I feel like if they added just ONE massive card like Trident Dragion, S:P, Chaos Angel or Thrust that alone would have killed most of the community backlash. IMO it's still a really good set, just doesn't pack too much of a punch in terms of reducing the overall market prices.

If they made it $70, $80, or even $85 I would have been completely fine with it. I don’t see any logic in it being $110+.

@@LeonardoDaVinci_1452 S:P will probably be in Rarity 3 or 4, same with Thrust, Dragion and Chaos Angel. All of those(except Dragion) had high rarity reprints very recently, so it was pretty obvious they wouldn't be in this one. It's simply because S:P still sells a lot of AGOV packs, same with Chaos Angel and even Thrust. Konami wants to squeeze every penny out of those, when those sets are out of stock we will get them in Rarity Collection. At the end of the day money is the only thing that matters, so I wouldn't be surprised to see S:P getting an alt art just so they could put it in an upcoming Rarity Collection. As for the price, Rarity 1 was around $90 per box I think, so why would a bigger box be less? A box of Rarity 2 costs 15-20% more, while you get 80% more cards(except in the US, it's the same price per card there). I completely agree with Trident Dragion, but I think this is just a case of the card list being set and the cards being printed already before Konami realised it would become so expensive and sought after. Otherwise it would have been in here, because that's easy money for them.

I’m excited for this set because the deck I wanted to make to get back into the game was slightly expensive but with reprints from this set makes it much more affordable. I think 7.5 hours and you’re done because there’s more packs in a box so less total packaging to open that the time will just be shorter!

After crunching the average amount of time it takes to open a pack + the ruxin specials + water breaks. We can clearly expect the stream to be between 7 hours 53 minutes and 8 hours 9 minutes

My take on RA02 is that it is really great if you prefer playing older formats (such as edison) compared to RA01 which had only a couple cards that was relevant for older formats. It is to the point where I'm actually considering buying my first ygo sealed product in a very long time (I don't really care for modern ygo, but love edison & goat)

The set isn't bad per say. You look at the list of cards and it's basically all bangers, but a lot of them were already cheap and accessible with high rarity prints. Like why are we getting Book of Moon, MST, and Judgement package when we need accessible reprints of cards like Fenrir, Diviner, Trident Dragion, and Druiswyrm that are both expensive and relevant. It's great that cards like Accesscode and Apollo are finally accessible to everyone, but it just misses the mark outside of a few key reprints.

im not a hater of the set i just wish they made some better choices. i think mbt talked about it in a great way. we should get edison reprints! but the ones we have in the set are not that great and needed. one thing i really like about the set is that while a lot of the cards have already been printed to oblivion, this makes more fun available rarities for deck customization :)

With the double ratios I kinda expect somewhere around 8 hours or so. Double pull rate is nice sure, but that just means a lot more chances to pull duplicates too

I opened 300 packs of rarity 1 to try and fill the binder, got about half of the qcsrs, slowly buying the cards I’m missing. Not sure if I want to master set rarity 2. I will buy sets of platinum rares of cards I play

I think RA02 is a great set. Is it as good as RA01? No. RA01 had the new factor to it. It was something new to us so we all absolutely loved it. RA02 is being compared to that and you just can't compare them. You have to take itnfor what it is. A reprint set with some gorgeous rarities. And for a reprint set, it's great
