in my country, "tower of dawn" is purple 💜 the publisher refreshed entire series and every two months another two books hit the bookstores, so last month we got "empire of storms" which was dark blue (sapphire like) and purple "tower of dawn"

I also kind of struggled starting the first Crescent City book, I kept telling all my friends it's like I'm not in on something in this book.. like I missed the explanation or something. I slugged through the first bit, and after a while I could kind of piece things together. She does end up explaining things in pieces throughout the book!

Have you finished reading the Throne of Glass series? I would HIGHLY recommend finishing that whole series before reading CC because there are little easter eggs throughout Crescent City that don’t make sense/have meaning if you haven’t read all of Throne of Glass!
