Hey Brooke, sometimes the severity of periods can fluctuate from period to period for zero reason. Toxic shock syndrome isn’t IN tampons, it is an illness that can occur when using tampons, it’s caused by bacteria. Hope that helped explain it! Glad you’re feeling better.

@@brrookejoness Anything you put up there for an extended period of time can cause it! So unless you're using pads or period panties, and changing them regularly, or free bleeding, you're at a chance of getting it. They have to put a warning about TSS on every period product as it is a risk. But it's very low risk of happening, your rough periods are more likely caused by stress or other gynecological issues (PCOS, Endometriosis, etc) than the tampons you're using! Also, period products are a completely personal and comfort thing, so use what makes you feel comfortable! I just would hate to see a young girl hear this and think TSS is in tampons, when that's not a true statement because it's not a product lol

I’m a 38 year old woman and just recently got diagnosed (after years of periods with pain as bad as contractions when I had my son) with Endometriosis’. Get yourself checked out because after what you just said, you could have it too. Every 6th to 10th woman has it apparently, but they‘re all suffering on their own for years (I did too) as it takes around 5 to 10 years to get diagnosed. ❤

If your bleeding when your waxing you know it's working. Also, seriously though- hold your skin taunt before you rip the wax off- so place one hand on the skin of your armpit, press down and kind of stretch the skin so that it's taunt. Then wrap the wax off while you're holding your skin down like that. I never had a professional wax ever in my entire life. I worked as a stripper too. I waxed every inch of it by myself. I learned a lot. You also always give yourself 24-hours better yet 48 after you whacked before you have to show that skin in public because it's going to be red, inflamed and maybe even have little tiny scabs on it. I thought it was my tampons giving me bad cramps but come to find out I have cysts on my ovaries! I don't have a period anymore because I had open heart surgery an it has screwed me all up plus...lol I have a big nodule that's growing on my adrenal gland. Yes I know I'm 46 yrs old 😢 also I'm fighting for my life an tryin so hard to get to Cleveland heart clinic ,but anyhow all that has made me go into early menopause I guess but the cramps are so horrible like right now I'm n the tub for the 3rd time today. I hope this cyst bust so I don't need surgery. Ugh p.s I'm gonna try that tanning lotion one day! ❤
