I was 19 when I was homeless. Then my mom kicked me back out again at 21 and then she lost her house when I turned 23 and had to move in with me. Like you our relationship was garbage fire for most of my life. My mom never really apologized for my childhood or the harshness she raised me in, but she's not strong enough mentally to do that... I'm glad that you were smart about what you needed to do and how to go about it. I'm glad you kept your dog and a good head on your shoulders. It's disheartening seeing so many people go through the same issues...

I’m so incredibly sorry you had to endure all that, not only just once but multiple times. I’m sorry you have to relive the trauma. I pray for your healing. Nothing is ever easy and i admire you for being for forgiving and gracious through her struggles as well. It’s all easier said than done. Childhood trauma is something that is running rampant, and has been for longer than we can imagine. I went through the same with my mom, except she was also extremely abusive. As an adult and now mother I waited for an apology I’ve not yet gotten… but I realized she’s traumatized and hasn’t let go of her own trauma, therefore can’t even see mine. It’s our job, as slightly more mentally stable/aware adults to give ourselves permission to heal. We deserve healing, love, and peace. Sending love to both of you🙏🏽

I just came across your shorts today, then started watching your videos. My aunt was homeless and an alcoholic as long as I can remember.. she wanted to be homeless. We tried letting her live with us, she had numerous apartments over the years and she was more comfortable being homeless. She finally decided to get a place not long after she turned 45 and was still drinking, not even 2 months into being in that place she passed away in her sleep. She was someone who enjoyed not having any responsibilities and just couldn't handle the pressures of day to day. So you saying it's different to be housed after being homeless, it makes sense. Its a big difference from picking a different place to go, to go to the same place every day. You're doing great, and a new environment seems to be doing very well for you! Its your life book, and this is your new chapter..

6:53 I’m a nurse and this pisses me off so badly. As a nurse in the ICU I get extremely busy with critical patients and I rely a lot on medical assistants and CNAs to help me get things done that otherwise I would not be able to do. THEY DONT GET PAID VERY MUCH AT ALL. neither do nurses but we definitely get paid more. My point is if it’s a position that is needed to literally help save people’s lives, they should make a fucking LIVEABLE WAGE. Ughhhhhh

My MA’s got paid only $2 more than me….. it was absolutely insane… and they offered me a full time MA position knowing i didn’t have a license. Even if i did, $2 more would not have been worth it. For the amount of responsibilities there are. The provider had to teach me everything when all our MA’s quit. Leaving it just him and i in the clinic for months.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel. 15 years ago I was a homeless teen mom, I didn’t have family I could turn to either. I won’t go into my story here, but leaning onto God and praying through it all saved me and my children. All of these years later I have high schoolers, I own a home, I have a new car and I finished school. None of it would’ve been possible without my faith in God. Without a heart transformed by the grace of Christ, we just continue to manage external and internal darkness. I am so glad that you are coming out of the darkness. I pray that God will continue to guide you and keep you safe.

Your story literally brought me to tears! You’re such a strong and beautiful girl! Such an inspiration! It’s a blessing to have a little companion like Dace! I also have such s strand relationship with my mother and non existent relationship with one of my sisters. Last year was a very challenging year for me, literally a year of growing pains, tears, financial struggles, depression, and I just didn’t want to continue so the last thing I had was to give it all up to God. Because I could no longer continue this journey, literally no support team, no family, and the family that I have, my mother consistently tears me down with negativity and I can never do anything right, and I’m always the issue, and no matter how many times I try to have a relationship it’s impossible because she just rejects me. However, I’m grateful for his blessings and the never ending love and kindness towards me. I don’t feel worthy to receive such kindness. Never felt genuine love until now. Love the way your speak about god and your relationship with him. ❤ Love you girl! ❤

Hi. I'm homeless. Well, I just got a room that I'm renting, i moved in 6 days ago. But it's really tough, I still feel homeless. I'm also in a place with no family or friends, so I know what it's like to face every challenge alone. I'm in my early 30's, and I was just released from prison after five years of torture, they lost my property so I left with nothing but the shirt on my back and 40 dollars cash. I'm putting things together one day at a time. It's been so much work. I just wanted to say that I know first hand what you've accomplished and I'm so proud of you. I just found your channel, and I'm going to stay subscribed so that I can come back for this great source of inspiration. Thank you. I used to be a content creator full time before I got locked up, before that I was a network engineer and got crippled by injury, that's why I started working from home. My point is, i know how much work it is to live stream and to make videos and to struggle. You are amazing. Don't downplay how much talent you have or how hard working you are. You are so brave and you know that you are stronger than you think you are. "I can do all things through Jesus Christ, which strengtheneth me." Also, red bull is my favorite too, I'm drinking them constantly every day, I thought that was funny. Keep it up. I'm rooting for you.

Change is so good. After being almost homeless it's almost addictive now. Going to the water in San Marcos, by Austin texas was my savior with God as well. Nature is so beautiful and seeing people without a car, and just stopped caring about life pushed me to rise up. I went from working at a junk yard, to cement labor, to a construction manager with a 6 figure salary in 6 months. Showers at the gym, working out, staying sober and surrounding myself with positivity not letting anyone tell me who I am, changed my life for the best. You're awesome keep it up. I am the middle child, family hurts. Good job and take care!

Never been homeless but I was a military kid and what you said about being in flight mode is so relatable! Obviously different stories, but I’m praying that you start planting your roots in your local community. Having places in the local area I feel apart of helps the flight feeling lessen. Facts. Love the tint. My truck is 2.5% tint. I love that no one can see me. I love my privacy. I don’t talk to any of my family at all. I totally understand the rest of the story. I respect the privacy. The healing is definitely a process. Take all the time you need. Just know this , you deserve to be loved and happy. And you’re not alone. Standards always. Never settle. You’re beautiful! And yeah your hair is beautiful. So proud of how gracefully you handled this. Like a true queen! Strong with a strong mind. Transition is very different. I literally shut down for about a month and just didn’t speak to anyone. I didn’t go outside. I just wrote down what I wanted to do. I slept a lot. I decompressed. I cried. I prayed. I slowly made myself a renewed being. Jesus is of love. Keep rebuking the enemy. You are living right love!! Amen to that.

My mom and I had a rocky relationship and she wouldn’t help me with a place to stay when I was down and out… Fast forward 5 years later to her getting divorced from my stepdad and being down and out and moving in with me. I’ve been stuck with her sorry ass living with me for the last 10 years. Looks like I’m stuck with her until she dies because she has nowhere else to go. Moral to the story… be careful who you turn away because you wouldn’t want them turning you away and you never know what the future holds. God bless you! I’ll pray for you. I’m glad things have worked out for you, I’ve been struggling for 6 years trying not to loose everything since breaking my low back but I can’t see this being gods will to be allowing his creations to have mental breakdowns, loose their career due to health, and straight up struggle at trying to live a normal life. Im about to be homeless, taxes, rent, insurance, bills, my little family, and more caught up to me and dont have almost no work to get to pay everything, only little side jobs. Sending you love Cindy… the Lord can restore relationships, he can also allow you to heal from them and just continue on. It’s really up to us and what we want. The desire of our hearts, he will let us know if they can align with the physical state. My case, remains the same, and though it hurts because i see everyone else with a healthy relationship with their family… i know one day i will have a happy family, minus kids, haha, and i will be loved by my future husbands family as if i was their own 🤍 things will still hurt and be sad to think about.. but there’s great joy on the other side as to why things like that just don’t work out. And it’s not always for our purpose, it’s to help others and allow them to know they’re not alone. Like you and i 🤍

I just found your vids and I'm in your old shoes now. I lost my son , and left my home to go to his, reasons had me leave, I had my first ever accident was in ICU , I have a dog too and after the accident they took him to pound even tho my emergency contacts were in my wallet and car. I'm writing to you from the EU, more precisely from the Mediterranean coast, from a small country next to Italy, called Croatia, I watched your video every day, although I didn't click "like" every time because I couldn't because of the tears that were pouring down my face watching how you fight to survive and provide for yourself and your dog baby (btw, it's beautiful) even though you slept in the car, you didn't give up, you fought, cleaned yourself properly, maintained hygiene, which some women today, even though they live at home, don't do it regularly you take care of the dog like your own child and I have a Bischon Frize dog called "Biggy" so I know what it's really like, they really are our children too...and then the video dawned "we are no longer homeless" I cried again but since good luck, because...you know....I also...had a period in my life, in fact, I was homeless, I was never the owner of a huge house, but I found myself in a very painful situation, that's why I tell you from experience that you are a fighter, and keep fighting like this through life and believe in yourself you will succeed 💜💪💚💛🧡🧡💙 I also fought like that, faced reality, came to grips with it and fought for myself and my three then 2 angels, today I the mother of three beautiful children, with my work and real estate, which I have turned into a business and combined the pleasant with the useful, so I am at home but I also earn money (I work in tourism), you are a great inspiration and I honestly think that we should share as many positive videos as possible so that young people encourage people who find themselves in trouble to fight 💜 I wish you Brooke lots of love health happiness because money can't buy those things when you have that - you have EVERYTHING 💜 You are the winner in this fight, well done, now keep going all the way to the top we all are with you, we are following you, I wish you business success and if you ever travel to Europe to Croatia, let me know, it will be an honor to host you in one of our apps with a view of the sea 💜 greetings!!!!
