For International Female Ride Day I am asking for those who ride to reach out to a female that is awesome and deserves to be empowered to ride! I was lucky enough to have 20+ Litas from Columbus and Dayton join me on a short group ride through Columbus to Dublin, Ohio. A few Litas were willing to share their backgrounds with us to help inspire the next generation of females riders young and old!

So glad you got to get out in a nice big group of lady riders. I loved how you started the video with women telling their stories. I got inspired by being on the back of bikes for years. I finally got into a position where I had time and money to do it myself. I've had my license for about 12 years now and have been riding consistently for 5 years. My first time I actually rode a bike myself I felt so free and empowered and I knew I would never turn back. Being a woman rider is one of the greatest things in the world and I absolutely love the motorcycle community. I now have a 2021 Harley Davidson Sport Glide and it is my pride and joy. I ride long distance, short distance, I go to motorcycle events and even started my own KZbin channel to help inspire other ladies to ride and work on their own bikes. Thank you for everything you do for the female riding community!

I started on a Riva Jog scooter I bought from a friend for $500. I tried to ride a scooter that my grandparents owned when I was 19 and failed miserably. I didn't try again til I was about 42. I'm 47 now. Got my endorsement last year and bought my first motorcycle last August. I have a 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan S650 and I love it so much!

Well Beth I agree with you. The bad thing is the three ladies I rode with one had surgery and could not ride anymore, the other died and the third one died in a motorcycle accident but it was a medical issues she may have died before the accident. I miss all three of them. This is a great video, thank all the ladies that spoke to us and have a great ride.

Awesome that you could do that. I personally have always loved motorcycles and have had mine now for 20 odd year, I've owned 11 different bike's and at the moment have a 900 Vulcan, my first Kawasaki and cruiser. How do you deal with the people who hate on you for ridding I struggle with that and being told I am less of a girl because I love / addicted to riding

Those people are toxic and insecure. Ignore them and be who you are. If they hate on you because they do not understand why you love motorcycling or motorcycling in general, then educate them. Sometimes people cannot communicate properly so it comes out as being overly critical. Mostly its because it is the former because you are outside their "mold" of who you should be in their mind. Ride Safe!!

Exactly what Jay said!! Tends to be people being jealous or projecting their own insecurities onto you. Please do you boo and don’t let others change you with their negative attitude! You deserve people around you who support you. Ignore those haters and find a tribe of people to treat you with respect and dignity. I’m here for you!

Loved watching your excitement and while I don’t know any female riders, I would encourage them to take a riding course and give it a try. And in a group ride, most people will sit at a light to let the group through. Larry in Fort Worth
