Absolutely fantastic interview! I've loved every minute of the show and especially felt for Tamara. She's an amazing jeweller and comes across as a lovely lass. You guys have been instrumental in my learning curve from cutting opal to making jewellery. Andrew you especially have shaped my skills and my journey at least 75%. I've opened a shop and whilst I've not made any sales yet I'm in it for the long haul. I might be a nurse but you guys helped me make the transformation from cutter to setter. 18 months down the line I'm still learning and loving it even more. The show has made all of my work mates sit up and realise what we actually do. It's all positive and to be honest you kept me going when I was knee deep in covid and death. You're an inspiration all of you! I'd love to buy you all a pint to repay you x

I really think she should have won. While I think all the finalists were obviously skillful and talented, Tamara's work was different than anyone else's and she showed things I have never seen before. The thought she put into the final wedding head dress piece was impressive and had the client known what it symbolized I think she would have chosen it. Not that jewelry should be chosen based on what it means versus how it looks, but all of the final pieces were suitable to wear and hers really stood out for more than just aesthetics.
