Zenyatta will always be my favorite breeders cup moment but Sunday Silence over Easy Goer is a close second. Easy Goer’s final 100 yards were breathtaking in defeat.

Enjoyable watch. I would include Zenyattas loss in 2010 as well and the 1988 distaff where Personal Ensign comes out of nowhere to win.

Good selection. Personally my favourite moment was the 2003 turf and no matter how many times I watch it, High Chapperel wins. 2nd place would be Dayjur jumping shadows in 1990, then Arazi then Alysheba vs Ferdinand. Soooo many great moments for only 10 places

Excellent choices, "Arazi" was astounding. Honourable Mention: Dayjur racing on dirt and a turn, blowing a win again the very fast American speedsters, distracted by shadow, and the cavernous echo chamber of Belmont Parks turn in. Safely Kept was game as hell.

Barathea for Frankie Dettori as a 19yr old in Churchill Downs in 1994..27/1 on the tote...i was there got soaked but thrilled

very hard to whittle it down to a top 10. did Beholder actually win?? the Arazi win was unforgettable. everyone thought he was cinch to win the Derby the next year. but it wasn't meant to be.

Skip away was a lock when there was no formal gold, wills way, silver charm and touch gold had that bum foot. Easiest 9/5 ever.

Lester Piggott hit Royal Academy 12 times to win , he was heavily criticised for that ride

At Woodbine I knew the CBC's man in the paddock,Michael Magee. He told Piggot, "I wouldn't let the stewards see that whip!" Mick Kinnane was brutal on horses, many of whom took a month to recover.

The horse responded and won, albeit with some nasty marks. There's no answer. A $3.5 million purchase. The breeders/owners didn't care, especially when the horse was off to stud.
