I rewatched it a few days ago after it had been a while since it had ended, and yes, The Middle is vastly underappreciated. In my opinion, this is the best family show that has come along in a long time. The show did an excellent job of bringing back elements from previous seasons, such as the sink and the hole in the wall, in later seasons. Best in terms of consistency.

It’s 2024 and I’m just now hearing of this show and WB has just torn down all the houses and soundstages that were Columbia Ranch, then Warner Brothers studios, so ALL OF ITS GONE! Atticus has grown into a very confident and witty young man, which is evident in the last couple of seasons of the Middle. Charlie seems very sweet and gentle, a sort of low-key and kinder version of Axl. Eden is Sue after a few gallons of chamomile tea.
