I mean the new engine with shitty unit collision came out with TW:Empire, you just didn't notice it because it, and Napoleon, and Shogun to a degree, were more oriented towards projectiles (what this engine is good at) than it is towards unit collision.

It would have been cool to start off with an overview of the whole city first (cause even with the subtitles i didn't understand where people were), then follow through with a few more overviews looking over everything as the battle progressed. yeah the game is Attila Total War so the Chi Rho is correct, but he setted the battle in 30 BC, so there was Augustus. Maybe not emperor yet, because the Roman Empire was born in 27 BC, but the undisputed leader of Rome and his empire was Octavian Augustus

A beautifully rendered battle, so gigantic that it doesn't fit in processors;). I will tell you something as a fan of the Totals series. Such attention to detail, details in armament as well as realism in the behavior of soldiers in combat as in the Total War series (and Rome II in particular) is nowhere in the gaming world, and I guarantee that being a fan of the series since the first Shogun I have not encountered such incredible realism of mapping battles as here. Historians themselves as well as fans of history and militarism are certainly dazzled by this image. Listen, young people, you can laugh, but such carefully prepared strategy games were simply not there before. Listen to the old, appreciate what they give you on the tray, because it is a feast of the gods.
