The first time I read about the Huns, the book thought he might have thrown himself into a burning wagon to avoid capture during a minor battle.

Another wonderful documentary was shared by an excellent ( Get.factual) channel. Documentary about Huns existed in Eastern Europe sovereigns and Huns infamous commanders ( ATTILA) in 5th century AD ,Searching for its tomb below Danube rivers... thank you for sharing... Hungary peoples ..Huns invaded Hungry and other rounded sovereigns..Huns were Central Asian tribe's..they had an elongate shaped Empire in Central Asia beneath Turkik and Mongol tribe's...they were three main divisions leftover theirs empire( white Huns wave to Europe, red Huns to western shore of Indian peninsula and Ssassanian empire borders, black Huns to eastern shore of Indian peninsula) ..Huns beast invaders are becoming prestige and flaunt figures of invaded populations...?

Very clever question, but answer is obvious no lessons from history only repeat and repeat the same for ever wars (especially in Europe), arms race the more the better, destroying the Earth, humanity is the most stupid and dangerous for themselves, believe or not it is FACT!

He might have been cremated. Also a bishop in the Caucasus is supposed to have brought back books in the Hunnic language a few centuries later (there were still people there identifying as Huns as late as the 8th century). Not sure if they are the same people though.

I'll tell you why the Huns started to move. Atilla sat with a few of his cohorts and he said "my empire is vast" and some fool said "not as big as the Roman empire" A guy like him isn't going to take that sitting down. No sir! I'm a Hun we have this challenge thing in our DNA The west knows nothing about him. He spoke all the languages and was learning latin, you can't vanquish what you don't understand. More Atilla

I sure he already spoke Latin. As a child he was living amongst the Romans as a hostage.

The theory that the huns are from Central Asia is probably true. Even my own dna results support that theory (I´m Hungarian). The test result shows land areas from Hungary all the way to Central Asia. Same thing for my relatives.

Perhaps a question of calorific capacity of which water is the highest (air having a lower calorific capacity than water and earth)? And water needs the most heat for one gram to raise one grade Celsius

what you know about bulgarians and khan Kubrat,from Dulo clan,mate?Are kutriguri,onoguri,bolgar,bandjar,balandjar and all those tribes,from Old great Bulgaria federation,between Black and Caspian see,bin in Hunnic federation ?Are our khans,from Kubrat and Asparukh,to khan Sevar,last Dulo clan ruler,are related with Atilla's Dulo clan,are Kubrat some grand,grand son of Atila?
@DarkKhagan
@DarkKhagan 4 ай бұрын
After Kubrat Khan died the Khazars quickly seized the power position as the Khaganate that ruled the former area of the "Onogurs" which included Volga Bulgars and Magyars at that time. The earlier Tribal confederations included many tribe's that formerly belonged within the Hunnic Confederation of tribe's such as the Kutrighurs, Utighurs and Saragurs, Sabirs and Ugors.

Okay that Lánszki Imre is sweping nonsense as a mediveal historian stone fortification started to apear in the 11-12 cenury and especialy in Hungary at the late 12 early 13 century after the mongol invasion and had many many but most of them ruined by the 16-th century or even before. Huns builded Motte whit wood and earth not even the romans realy used stones but onlie for walls not to castles. So thats realy a fals lead. What could be possible tough that the city of sicambria somehow survived the migration period not likley tough and they now that the remains of Attila wood fortification remained and they later bulied it in stone that happend a lot. But Ethimology is interseting tough and worth a look into it.
