The grail being made of gold, silver, or crystal would make no sense. The most likely grail would be a common clay cup of the common people at the time.

I’m going by the rules of Indiana Jones. Any chalice or goblets made of silver or gold and/or encrusted with jewels are for kings only. That narrows down the search. The Holy Grail could have been either a clay or wooden cup.

6:22 The Valencia Cup is, by far, the best candidate. Spurious legends have arisen through the misunderstanding of "grille," which referred to the lattice work that held the folds of the Image of Edessa in place, and through the same for "Briton," which referred to the castle wherein that Image was held in Edessa and not to "Brittain." The spelling of words was not so universal in medieval times, and speculations arose through these confusions.

this is anything but a documentary. a documentary is rooted in facts and relies on witness testimony. the cup was not a promise of eternal life - that was added to the stories some 200 years later by pope constantine. the painting by davinci had zero reference to the "last meal" because he wasn't there to paint it, how could he knbow what was on the table, much less what the china, crystal, and silverware looked like. come on, are you really that, i don't know, gullible, as to believe this? and to call it a documentary?

Entertaining, but the scientific value is minimal. Scientists who are already biased because of their religious beliefs. Therefore searching for clues which match with the desired outcome.
@DonnaCsuti-ji2dd10 ай бұрын
I'm scientist but actually all humans have preconceived ideas and beliefs even if you are not religious but we still come up with better conclusions than any AI computer. Humans are imaginative and are better at weeding out the ridiculous and impossible things. Computers just come up with the quickest easiest stuff and don't mull things over thinking things though like Humans do, to the various possible conclusions and illiminating bad ideas before making a decision ( that takes time).😊
