Gambit In like 5 days it will be a year since CHAOS came out, and considering they’re already releasing this single, the album can’t be far from releasing. So the new album should definitely be here before it hits the two year mark, whereas most bands might have an album done, and purposefully wait until a little after two years to put it out, or they hold off writing/recording until it’s been two years(ish) So they can draw out their previous album for all they can get from it. I just appreciate Attila just writing and putting out music whenever they feel like it. :) I’m super excited for more like this though ~

HUGE step forward for Attila as a band. Don't get me wrong, I'm a longtime fan and have always loved their (admittedly excessive) accessibility and simplicity, but there's something really incredible about bands who manage to really step up their instrumentals while still maintaining much of their initial sound and identity. Take Emmure on "Look at Yourself," for instance. This is a great sign.

Fallacy was garbage. Rage and Outlawed were dope. If you don't hear any of that era in this track, I would advise sitting down and giving a listen to their entire discography. This track would fit right in on either Rage or Outlawed. Probably the latter a bit more, though.

You say Fallacy was garbage, but said they stepped up their instrumentals while maintaining their initial sound and identity. If Fallacy was so bad to you, how did they stay the same? Fallacy was by far their best album. It was gritty, heavy, and had everything that Attila should be. Especially given the time period it came out. Same for Soundtrack to a Party. Rage was good, but far from great, same with Outlawed. The rest has been extremely downhill from there. I get that music is subjective, but all their tracks have gotten extremely repetitive, full of way too many clean vocals, and (even for a party metal band who never has substance) their lyrics are beyond idiotic now, only appealing to 12 year old girls who want to feel hardcore.

QuantumHawk I love this song, I love Attila in general, but I would not ever claim a song to be the hardest song of 2017 without a majority vote from a large amount of metal (etc...) fans. I’ve heard of songs much harder and better than this that has been produced throughout 2017. It’s hard, but it isn’t the hardest song of 2017.
