IMHO Martin is one of the best if not THE best performer in Berlin School I am embarrassed when I start listening cause these tunes uncover a lot of hidden emotions. Sequencies are are always a bit anxious. Not for relaxing but for reflection and thinking Highly recommended 10 out of 10! Thanks, pal!

Such a nice piece. I drifted off a bit listening. Right in my ball park. Nice SEM sounds and other noises. Back to the 70’s for me - no bad thing - we thought it was bad back then (well I didn’t) but boy oh boy how much better life was than the crap we are stuck with now. This music lifted me out of the melange that life has become. I don’t like this new world - it’s shit. I want to go back to a time where this music comes from.

#me_too.... wat dat betreft was vroeger alles beter ten tijde van Gandalf, Kitaro, Tangarine Dream en Klaus Schultze....

Thanks. And yes, if we could turn back the time with the knowledge of now.

But Martin is of the now and making the music now. Forty years ago I would have never heard of him nor this style of music. Now I can pull him up whenever I need to even communicate with him in a place I've never visited. There is darkness in the world now as in every age but there are also wonders and blessings. Thank-you Martin for blessing us with the wonder of your music in this our time.

@@phlattgetit Also, the synths we use are expensive, but still in reach for many. The synth I have probably cost the same as a 5 year old car. In the 70s, it would have cost the same as a very large house.

I want you to know how much I appreciate your music. I listened to this while at work and literally forgot I was at work for a few minutes :D :D Like a psychedelic journey. Must have been so fun to compose this. Been listening for years but just realized you have a bandcamp! Sorry I didn't see it sooner!

I've just been listening for a couple minutes, but I love that fluttering, pigeonlike sound!
@@attorks Sounds like you're ratcheting a soft, short triangle wave kind of sound. Very cool track!
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
@@mgregory22 Yes, that is the self-built Modular with the white panels which has random ratcheting.

@@attorks Oh sweet! You designed that whole thing yourself? I'm currently studying electronics. I hope to make my own modular synth someday!

I have just finished listening to this, and I have to digest it for a while before I can say for sure, but this may very well be your greatest masterpiece so far. No matter what, this is amazing beyond describtion. Having goosebumps all over, and love every second of it. Thanx for existing and creating such dreamy experiences.

Lovely harmonics and sequence... how are you integrating the modular with the Midi / DAW? I'm struggling with multiple audio interfaces [ES9 and Focusrite], and Mac / Ableton not liking it
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
All MIDI outputs and CV/Gates are handled by the Cirklon. I have a Behringer X32 Compact to record multitrack on an SD Card in the X32. So I don’t use the computer for recording. After the recording I import the recorded tracks in Studio One.
@joostderoij60403 жыл бұрын
Do you also use the NDLR as a sequencer?
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
No, the NDLR is an advanced arpeggiator and not a sequencer. I use the Cirklon for sequences.

Great berlin school music! I saw you are owner of an JD-800! In the 90s i dream to get one - but too expensive for me! Are you happy with it?
@attorks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yes, I am happy with it. The keyboard is replaced so it plays fine.
