You are so right, they are laws that need to be followed. The dems say they are discriminatory. If a person can't figure out how to get that ID they should not be voting anyway. If the dems are so worried about it they need to get out there and get those folks the ID's they so badly need. They cannot get healthcare benefits they are entitled to without those ID's. Every American should have an ID, why would anyone question that?

Federal Prison good time is and always was supposed to be calculated at 85% percent of time served with good time. The First Step Act merely remedied a mathematical error the BOP used to calculate good time. The difference on good time is only 7 days per 365 days. When the BOP calculated good time before they gave 47 days good time per year instead of 54 as it should be at 85%. There is no addition good time given. All they did was fix the math to what should have been reflected always. If you had a 10 year sentence, you only get an additional 70 days. That's just nine weeks off of a 10 year sentence. Its no gift. All it is is 15% off of your sentence. Federal Prison time has always been 85%. Its very deceiving. There was nothing given.

Happy to oblige: "Colored people" is a term used when segregation was in full force. A nice way for good christian white folks to refer to black people.
