People need to remember, these are PRIVATE companies. First amendment applies to the GOVERNMENT regulating free speech. SV

The user agreement has changed, the statement in section 14 of the 2/27/2019 document no longer appears anywhere in the new user agreement.

What about asking for people's SSN? That seems to be given out by people without thought and now trendy! I thought SSN was between the government and myself only. Thoughts?

I've seen this indemnification clause other places but I don't recall where. FB has a similar clause facebook.com/legal/terms/previous as does twitter help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/enhanced-features-agreement

You always want to know when that applies, and you always want to be careful online!!

All you have to do is log out.. Then you can not get back in.. I did nothing wrong..! The admit my account exists.. I still cannot sign in.. They said after 4 weeks to change password... Change password does not work.. Have ask them to delete my dodgy account 6 weeks later the stated they can't and to change my password ,, Which doesn't work.. Over it.. I just want my information removed ..

Ruth. I found it to be a pain in the ass, too, to get verified. Had to go through the Parler app on my phone, enable Parler access to my camera, shoot the selfie, then go back in and 'deny' Parler access to my camera, etc.

Well I got two item 5 and they're talkin about anyting you post is basically theirs and you own nothing once you put it on there unless of course it violates some Community standards or they can't take it from you without fighting it from another person because of copyright infringement go figure

If you have something god (besides ideas/thoughts/fact) think about whether it is worth protecting with a copyright, trademark, or maybe even a patent. Everything else is free game. SV

@@attorneysteve don't get me wrong I can see the value in quoting people and what they have said, basically it's no better than Facebook it's kind of commie China if you think of it, because that's exactly what they ask of the businesses that do business with them. You give up rights to your work............. so what is the use?

@@attorneysteve and in my humblest opinion free speech isn't free speech unless it's absolute and possessed by the one who is responsible for uttering it. Freedom with responsibility total freedom and total responsibility for oneself including the words one says and ownership.
