Hopefully everyone sees just how ridiculous this “you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater” argument is. What we’re talking about here is motivation and motivation is derived from intent. Was the person intending to alert others to a threat or were they simply intending on being an a$$h0le and causing a false alarm? Because we have laws to govern the latter. Just like it’s not the “tools” that cause harm, it’s the persons intent. But we don’t want to talk about that because that don’t fit the narrative or the end goal, now does it?

I am with the founding fathers on 2A. They did not believe in limits. Before 1934, you could buy a cannon or machine gun for cash, no paper. I have walked into a small town hardware store with Dad, and we bought a case of dynamite and some caps & fuse, for cash, no paperwork. If a man is not under arrest or incarcerated, he has the God-given right to be armed - with anything.

I know a lot of attorneys that represent pedofiles. They vigorously defend them in court. I know every one of them detest their clients behavior. I know of lawyers that are the bluest of blue democrats and detest firearms. However, they are on the short list of attorneys that I would call if I was on the wrong side of the law. An attorney’s job is to be a client’s absolute advocate. An attorney should be judged on their client advocacy as opposed to their personal beliefs. AOR should be responding about their client advocacy as oppose to their personal beliefs. Their beliefs do not matter. Their results in court do.

Try looking full circle at this issue. The language is where things can get trippy. Words interpreted with bias on a position can be a slippery slope when discussing topics such as this. Absolutism is like one eye blind. We all ride this ship called earth and balance of viewpoints is necessary for us to be able to mutually share this ship with all parties concerned. I went with and am staying with AOR as after extensive research and inquiry deemed it the best choice for me. Due diligence is a personal choice and duty for each individual and the freedom and liberty is there to do just that. There are a ton of lawyer jokes to go around and there are a ton in instances where insurance companies have shown themselves to be unethical and the case of self defense is not the time to be canceled.

5:49 I learned to safely handle firearms when i was 6, and I'm a paranoid schizophrenic, yet i've never harmed or attempted to harm anyone, and I've never had a firearm related accident. Everybody is different and any generalized ban on any group of people will inevitably lead to innocent people being stripped of their rights. Whether or not a child can safely handle a firearm is entirely dependent on parenting and whether or not a mentally disabled person can safely handle a firearm is effectively random chance.

I agree with you John. When a Person has "Paid his Debt to Society", that Person should get ALL of his Rights Back. (FWIW, If he's on Parole, he hasn't paid his debt.) To simplify it , if you buy a car and pay it completely off, that debt is paid and the car is yours. If you still owe the bank for the car, then the car is NOT yours because you still owe a debt to the Bank, so the car really belongs to the Bank. I know a LOT of People will say one is not comparable to the other and I'm NOT trying to say they are the same thing, just trying to REALLY simplify it for those who disagree that someone should get their Rights Back after they were convicted of a Felony and completed their Punishment for commiting the Crime. They shouldn't have to keep paying for the rest of their lives. Like you said, if you can't trust them, they shouldn't be out walking the Streets. As far as I'm concerned, if they stand by their word and defend their clients in court as they say they will, then they are good to go. If they want to preach trash ideas to the gun community, then there is ample opportunity for a rival firm to drink their milkshake. Of course, if their leadership starts directly donating to anti-gun politicians (BRCC) or lobbying for anti-gun laws in order to achieve a monopoly/guaranteed business model (USCCA and other insurance orgs/safe companies), then my money will go elsewhere.

The "fire in a crowded theater" argument is and always has been BS. What gun controllers are arguing there is that a potential bad action justifies the banning of a physical object. In other words, a deranged person murdering numerous innocent people justifies the banning of the weapon that enabled that action to take place. To be intellectually honest and equal to this example, government would be justified in banning the use of the word "fire" in every instance whatsoever, as this is the equivalent to the gun bans that they propose. This of course, is completely absurd. Prosecute the crime and the person that committed it, not the tool.

You can't yell fire in a crowded theater and you can't say anything about AOR, or the wrath of its fanbase, Heavy Duty Country, and Marc himself will be on you. The one thing that has put me off is I've seen decent 2A Gun Tubers just stating a position and losing a quarter of their subscription and getting a fiery video from Heavy Duty Country, and just, the Jihadist-like behavior of it all makes me feel very uncomfortable. I don't know why, but following this drama, that's the one thing that stands out. The ones stating their position as centrists and getting reamed for it aren't firing back and moving on with their lives. I will hand it to Marc, and I know he's reading this because he's in every YT video that mentions AOR, you guys are on fire for your brand. ON FIRE. And that's great. I'm sure you're great at what you do. The legal (in) justice system in this country isn't set up that way. Although self defense is legal, proving that it was "reasonable" beyond a shadow of a doubt will more than likely be decided in court where an overzealous prosecutor will do everything in his power to prove to a jury that it was an UNreasonable act and that you should be in prison for whatever amount of time the judge in the case deems appropriate. Thus, that's where lawyers come in. One could represent themselves in court, but that wouldn't be a good idea. It's their house, have to play by their rules.

@@bigd3104 its real simple, in my state if you are in reasonable fear of death of self or others lethal force is then legal to use to end such a threat. people aren't stupid, if someone violates that then they go to jail, if reasonable fear of death is present, then "all parties accounted for" as the news says......it could be argued that the person with the self defense insurance was looking for a fight, he/she was the aggressor simply for having the insurance tells me that person anticipated and looked for a reason to use such force......still, a waste of money, its better to NOT have a self defense attorney, and if you get jammed up then hire a lawyer, what you guys are doing is pushing more gun control, it won't be long until states require it just like a car, so they can tax it and disarm more people, no insurance, no carry, just like a car.....its a scam its a racket, sooner or later EVERYONE will wake up to this fact.
