Let them go home. Most of the crew won’t have any help and. Why haven’t The crew been asked the questions. Time to let them see their families

Accident happened on March 26th. Crew could and should have been interviewed and allowed home long before now.

let them go home why keep the cook or a deck hand
@EnlistedBombin11 күн бұрын
Nah you need them all I have been called to a USCG board before. The engineer, capt and pilot are going to be key to this. The deckhands got view points that no one else has, they might have seen something that no one else had view points on. At that point in the trip most of the deckhand would be disbursed around the boat stowing lines from docking and securing gear for voyage.

@@EnlistedBombin well i could agree with you but months later?? no way and like you said they all have given their story's let them go home

@@danhealey5417 They might have given the story and its going to be investigated but there still has to be a USCG board which is a Maritime Court room pretty much.

To save Baltimore being sued for millions, for the wrongful imprisonment of the crew, and as apparently in no rush to interview the crew; they've been sat on board twiddling their thumbs for 3 months, the cheapest option would likely be for City to negotiate to hire the crew for a year or two, at $50,000 per head, along with offering them visas, accommodation, medical insurance, and cover the cost of their own counsel. Would only cost a few million a year, and in a year or two, when there's an opening in a couple of the Cities lawyers diary, to ask the crew a few questions, they can, without fear of the City being libel for the many millions a head, from a string of false imprisonment suites. After all very unlikely the City is going to peruse its claim the crew were incompetent, and the vessel unseaworthy, as that will simply invalidate the insurance cover, and leave the City with the at best the actual vessel and cargo, worth $43m, before paying the salvage, legal, auction, ... costs.

AN WASTE OF TIME HOLDING ALL CREW MEMBERS! THE ONLY ONES RESPONSIBLE ARE THE CAPTAIN, STEERING CREW ON DUTY AT TIME AND CHEIF MECHANICAL ENGINEER! THE GRUNTS WORKING BELOW OR OFF DUTY AT THE TIME SHOULD BE RELEASED ASAP.

that crew AND ship should sit right there unlil we have the answers as to what caused the ship to lose power and why the breakers were tripping that ship looks to be in poor upkeep condition and that crew are the only people we have to hold to account.. the owner are running for the hills with everything they own and if we let the crew and ship go then we have Zero leverage to get compinsation..

Let some them go home because some of them have nothing to do with it. They just happen to be at the wrong place and the wrong time. That’s like something happened at work but you have no clue on what happened.

Did they design or build the ship? Why were phones removed from the crew and kept for so long? They couldn't communicate with their families or use their finances.

This is fake news...the crew was NEVER on board....
