Thank you Father Ripperger for this Homily that enlightening us about the Church, it’s Authority and the Faith. I have some concerns about Churches in which Sacred objects have been desecrated and also that have leaders we cannot spiritually trust. What does the faithful do in this case during this deep and horrific crisis within couple with the pandemic as we realise how important it is to attend Mass frequently for our spiritual well being.

Thank you Father for talking about canonization. I've always thought that most saints have to visit purgatory before being 100% pure in order to enter heaven. ... but I've never known what the Church actually teaches on this. So if they did have to visit purgatory, they were experiencing the Beatific Vision at the time of canonization.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in order for a PROPOSITION to be infallable - the idea that a whole document such as 'Lumen gentium', for example, might be somehow 'unnerring' is preposterous - a Pope must teach it EX CATHEDRA and CONDEMN the opposing view as HERETICAL in an official document sent out to the Universal Church. The template for such a statement might be something like this: We, Pope (...), speaking as Head of the Catholic Church, affirm that (...) must be held by all who profess the Catholic Faith and whoever denies it, let him or her be ANATHEMA - i.e., CONDEMNED by the Church as a Heretic - and, according to the very strong word of saint Paul himself, DAMNED by God. BTW, some modern cosmologists have come to the conclusion that the Earth might very well be the center of the Universe after all...
