Prophetic is the word that kept going through my mind, too. The worst part is that it is going to get so much worse! Upon reflection, it feels like this time is akin to training wheels, as if God is giving us time to work on our vices and shore up our virtues so that we spiritually survive the chastisement. God is so good to us! However, when we are fully in the midst of the chastisement there will be people who will blame God for the suffering and because God didn't give sufficient warning. Apparently, a book with Christ's actual words, 2000 years of written and oral Tradition, and the multitude of approved apparitions are just not sufficient warning. I know that I am dealing with two particular vices, they are sinful, yes; but, I do thank God that I am not dealing with addiction to pornography, drugs, or alcohol. I say special prayers to St. Kolbe, the prayers for addicts I ordered from the Shrine of Divine Mercy. I have a family member who has that issue and it has really opened my heart in a way that it had not been before. My particular vices should be easy to beat it into submission, but I have failed miserably thus far. I do think it has been a help to shift my focus from beating myself up every time I fall to my vices to focusing on building up their opposite virtue. I hope I will get at least partial credit for continuing to try, dad after day. This series was amazing, I have actually listened to it a couple of times. There is so much information I feel like I absorb something new every time I hear it. I love Fr. Ripperger, he makes what could be dry and complicated subjects easy to understand and fun to listen to when he shares personal stories and jokes. The combination keeps me engaged and I always learn something. God bless him! Three Hail Mary's for him.

I believe the white horse (the rider holding a rainbow) in revelations is the gay movement the world is going under and the black horse ( rider holding scales of justice ) has resulted from the George Floyd murder and The red horse is China with the covid virus. We are at the door right now. I also believe that God has been speaking to us all through the thousands of years through the Catholic Saints. And I know that Mary will be a huge part of the last days as She is the woman clothed in the Son (sun) and the moon at her feet in revelations.

I once wasn't fond of prayer and prayed 15 mins a day. Then this past spring I started to pray the all mysterys rosary and everything changed for the better in my life. I've lost all but 1 of my bad habits but I do have control over it now and soon it will also be gone. We will all be going through a dark night of the soul when God returns but I'm here to tell you to TRUST IN GOD AND JESUS. Repent, repent and repent. My dark night happened a few years ago and I wasn't sure if I'd survive it but I did and it was by daily prayers daily bible reading and a confession (a face to face )and returning to mass. I've found God is very merciful if you truly are repentant. After God shows the world His face through Jesus Christ you will know all and your guilt will annihilate your sense of self but persevere it and you will find His loving/mercy to be all that matters.

The abuse I got, the hostility from older women especially & young men really got to me. This sermon has sorted it out in my mind and I understand I just need to continue. I don’t think you understand what the sacraments ARE to Catholics.. we are aware that God is available 24/7.. the mass is a special place of the celebration of Christ’s life , death and resurrection.. and receiving communion which is one of the 7 sacraments from which we receive extra grace!! This was an argument I had with my Old prysbeterian pastor aswell othe Ego tistics of the Lutheran faith and These So called hard core Eucharist practioners .. I only had 4 Priest out of 40 who I called from various denominations and actually said to me while under certain conditions the communion can be practiced in your own time, as long it’s doesn’t take away the other practices ..and it should not be abused … Amen for that and definitely it can be allowed and people should take responsibility for their own souls at home ..

This is the 3rd time I listen to this lesson; a refresher . It’s July 2021 and everything is cataclysmic compared to 2017. Oddly I just realized while listening that I chose this lesson, coincidentally, on the day where the first reading was on Abraham following God’s instruction to sacrifice his son Isaac. Today’s readings was all on having true faith and detachment. This year’s readings are too aligned with the global events in this reality TV show and we are all the extras in this epic saga between greatness and evil. I’m just sitting back and waiting

It is best be detached from your family. When you have detachment from them if there is a problem that arises the Lord can utilize you to help that family member more. If you're not detached from them you will get your own emotions and feelings and thoughts and ideas involved in how to help them and you will not hear the voice of the Lord as clear. He will give you perfect guidance how to help each and every person in your life if you will let Him.
