Unfortunately not, you’d be better off with a Vango tunnel tarp or an adventure tarp.

First of all I have to say that I'm a huge fan your videos. My question: does this fit to an Alton Air 400? And is it the same as the Vango Experience Side Awning (TA003) from 2022? Greetings from Germany

It would fit the Alton Air 400 but it would have to stretch from the open canopy to the bedroom compartment. It is the same as the TA003, we just used the previous version.

Have you left two guide ropes on the main tent unpegged to accommodate the side awning? Is this OK to do? (I'm looking at adding a side awning to my coleman pinto but would need to leave two guide rope loose on the main tent to accommodate it).

The guyropes have been left unpegged so that the side awning can fit on. As long as the guyropes (which aren’t pegged) are covered by the awning then there is no need to re-peg them.

Rupesh Acharya unfortunately this won’t really fit on the front of your iris, it has been designed to be on a side door.

Unfortunately it won’t as one zips on and the other just pulls up against the tent.

It depends on the design of your tent, as some tents won’t have the ability to align the doors.

robert gatehouse some models do abs so models don’t , it normal depends on the manufacturer and spec of the side awning. This one didn’t.

You don't show where the side awning meets the main tent. We have a side tall awning for the Vango Langley 600 and it's a rubbish design. There's a big gap between the awning and the tent with huge leaks and the piece that goes over the tent creates a huge wind tunnel and is like a sail in high winds. Pretty rubbish design

Unfortunately it wouldn’t fit this model as that tent is a dome style without a particular wide door.
