We bought it and have used it a few times. I must say the tent has a great design and excellent feature, its a shame that the canopi remains open all the time, they should think about making a removable door something like that to at least avoid water!

We used to have this tent the 2020 model it was so much better slightly larger and with quick pitch system why have they gone backwards but yet still charge more

Unfortunately over the years the production costs have gone up, so Kampa have done their best to not make the tent too expensive by taking out a few features.

@@ronnyrhodes68 it depends on whether you wanted a Polycotton tent or not. It has some good spec but it might be with looking at the Dometic Rarotonga 401 as that will be similar/better than your old Hayling.

Unfortunately this kampa hayling 4 air tent 2 yrs now I still couldn’t find the vestibule or mesh for this tent at all.

Why suddenly on the kampa site, the kampa Brean 4 air classic are not listed anymore but only the normal brean 4 air and they have only this one the hayling 4 air classic tc, the old one with front mesh are gone.. Is it due to covid-19 that they reduced their available models? It is a bit disappointing. Their 2020 models are better..

Unfortunately for the 2021 season Kampa have cut back a lot of models and this is one of them unfortunately. The 2020 collection does seem to have a higher spec level and a better more space.

@@andrewj6611 so you can buy additional storm straps which clip onto the front and back of the tent to give extra strength.

How many mm is the Water column outer tent?

So Polycotton doesn’t have a waterproof rating because the test that they do isn’t applicable to the material but I would say a Polycotton tent will always be more waterproof than a polyester one.
