Can I operate this tuner to adjust the ring antenna and it contains a balloon that I own and which I bought from Banggood in receiving long and short waves only without using it in the communication for transmission and can I connect it to a variable capacitor to improve reception of long and short waves

Yes, you can use it manually without transmitting. You need to boot the unit in manual mode. In manual mode you can choose the inductance and capacitance selecting it manually.

Hello friend, I bought an ATU 100, and the seller did not give me any support after the purchase, I would like to know if you can help me please. My ATU 100 is with version 3.2 but when I put an antenna or a 50 OHMS resistive load it marks 1.9 roe and not 1.0 and the power when I transmit with 10w it marks 17.3w so it is uncalibrated... by chance do you know which cells and values ​​(parameters) I need to change or insert via pickit so that it is calibrated for 1.0 and 120w? Edison, take a look at this video, it shows how to reprogram some values. kzbin.info/www/bejne/moHcpJJjlNyDmbM The "tandem match ratio" could be something that helps you to calibrate. Not sure. You will have to try. Good luck!

If you want to build your own from scratch, this is a good starting point: ad5x.com/images/Articles/RemoteDC%20RevA.pdf If you are MFJ fan and want something ready to go: mfjenterprises.com/collections/bias-tee I couldn't find a kit on either eBay or AliExpress, but I'm sure they exists. How do you ever figure out how to build that with no instructions?

Hi, the only instructions needed are for building the inductances, coils and toroids, these are in the schematic in the N7DCC GitHub repository. The PBC board that I purchased comes with all SMD components soldered already. I have to solder only the thru-hole components, inductances, and relays. All labeled on the PCB. Isn't really too complex. However, I do not recommend as a first kit or circuit to build. There are many many videos in KZbin on how to build it too. I watched few of them.

@@VA3HDL Are you sure? The schematic doesn't give much information, when it just says T1, T2 Tandem match BN43-202 how can anyone tell what that is? Also I couldn't find any videos that showed building it!

The inductances instructions on the schematic are in the bill of materials part, as follows: L1 - 4mm AIR CORE 0.5mm WIRE, 3 turns L2 - 6mm AIR CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 4 turns L3 - 6mm AIR CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 7 turns L4 - T68-2 AMIDON CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 8 turns L5 - T68-2 AMIDON CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 13 turns L6 - 2xT68-2 AMIDON CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 13 turns L7 - 2xT68-2 AMIDON CORE 0.8mm WIRE, 19 turns T1, T2 - TANDEM MATCH, BN43-202 AMIDON CORE 1:10 This last one is on the "binoculars" type of core. Each side has 10 turns (of the thinner winding cable coming with the kit), and 1 "turn", that is just a piece of thick cable, going through the middle of each hole. I've used the thicker cable that I found that will fit and help to keep in place the 10 turns of thinner conductor in place. Is important to prevent overlaps of the turns. This one was the harder to build. One of the reasons I wanted to build this kit is to learn to make inductances. Hope this helps you and others. 73
