How the wife and the judge can be punished under Indian law in the tragic case of Atul Subhash: For the Wife: Section 306 IPC (Abetment of Suicide): Up to 10 years imprisonment for causing mental distress leading to extreme steps. Section 384 IPC (Extortion): Punishable with up to 3 years imprisonment for coercive demands of money or property. Section 120B IPC (Criminal Conspiracy): Holds individuals accountable for plotting actions that harm others. Section 506 IPC (Criminal Intimidation): Up to 7 years imprisonment for threats or coercion to gain control. Section 191 IPC (False Evidence): Punishes submission of false evidence with up to 7 years imprisonment. Section 499 IPC (Defamation): Protects reputation by punishing false allegations or defamatory statements with up to 2 years imprisonment, a fine, or both. For the Judge: Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act: 3-10 years imprisonment for improper financial dealings. Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act: Punishes misuse of authority to cause harm or gain financial advantage. Section 166 IPC (Public Servant Misconduct): Holds public officials accountable for improper actions or decisions. Section 409 IPC (Breach of Trust by a Public Servant): Penalizes betrayal of public trust with life imprisonment or up to 10 years. Why it matters: Legal accountability ensures fairness, prevents misuse of authority, and protects individuals from undue harassment or defamation. Share this comment to spread awareness and keep justice at the forefront! Justice must prevail! Harassment, corruption, and misuse of laws should not go unpunished. Sahi bola uncle ji ne... Nyay kaha mila hai... Beta to phir bhi chala gaya... Aise kitne parivar khatam ho gaye one sided pseudo feminist laws ke karan... Ab to Gender Neutral Laws banao, introduce Pre-nup agreement, Say No to Dowry and Say No to Alimony and Maintenance to wives... Reintroduce child custody laws...
