Hey, good to know, i was thinking of getting it, can i ask, is it loud, as in, will others hear the drum heads being hit more so than other roland type electronic drum kits? Cheers

@@mispelling I don’t know how it compares to others. It’s not all that loud, but you can hear the cymbal hits, and bass drum beater from room to room.

@@Chriskasady Thanks for the reply! I was worried about my neighbours. So room to room would be ok. So handy to know. Can’t wait till I get the kit 😆

At first time, he hits the hi-hat instead of the splash and probably the hi-hat isn't active at that time. And then he hits the splash and sounds. I think the system sounds to work in order.

How is the triggering?? Is it as sharp as roland??

Nice Kit... Here in Chile we went to the launching of this battery in AUDIOMUSICA and it is a great kit with good sounds. what stands out most is the dynamics in the cymbals to generate good accents, good fillings and good sound rides. the aesthetics is good, similar to the DrumTec kits. Now being critical from the final quality of this kit versus the middle and high range of Roland td25-td17-td30-td50, many of us think that it is not yet at that level in dynamics, quality and finishing sounds of snares, toms and bassdrums. The Roland td17 (small versión of the td50) can be sampled and has better sounds in general better dynamics quality in cymbals superior to this ATV kit. Even so, great electronic drum kit !!!
@rolderdrummer24485 жыл бұрын
Rica Buenaño IMAGINE THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY TRIED TO UPLOAD THEM TO TD17 ?? THE SAMPLERS YOU CAN UPLOAD TO THE TD17 CAN CHANGE AND MODIFY SOME SPECIFIC PARAMETERS LIKE PITCH, MUFFLING, TONE AND GAIN ... YOU CAN LEAVE IT AS A LAYER ON OR UNDER THE SOUND YOU CHOOSE AND YES, YOU HAVE DYNAMIC RANGES...
@JesusLordOfLords4555 жыл бұрын
Lol! This is much better than the td17, td25k and is as good as the td50 although the ad5 module is very simple in comparrison
@rolderdrummer24485 жыл бұрын
Lloyd Rees Disagree with you, although the ATV module is Well, both td25 and td17 modules are immensely better in trigger system and better response of module parameters. In addition, the TD17 module has practically the same TD50 technology and a selection of 50 TD50 sound banks.
@fVNzO5 жыл бұрын
@@rolderdrummer2448 Imo the AD5 is superior in raw sound quality to all existing roland modules. They just all sound very synthesized to me where the AD5 does a bit of a better job emulating a real drum. Neither are perfect but the rolands snare and ride sounds (or complete lack thereof) really sets it back. Roland wins in the sensivity and triggering response department with their digital pads though... for a price. The sample ability of the TD17 and 50 is also extremely limited and i don't think they're able to mask the overbearing fakeness the modules deliver.
@JesusLordOfLords4552 жыл бұрын
@@rolderdrummer2448 but dude, you are comparing fake synthetic roland "drum" sounds to some of the worlds most classic drums and cymbals recorded in a studio setting....iv never heard a roland module sound good enough to record an album, meanwhile the ad5 paired with the adrums is working a treat!

Atv and efnote need to go to 20" at least bass drums. Throws the whole look off. How many people buy acoustic sets with 18" bass drums?
@skeptikoi88905 жыл бұрын
Which kit would you consider more realistic in terms of feel and similarity to an acoustic drumset between this one and the Pearl Emerge?
@fVNzO5 жыл бұрын
The Emerge has slightly larger drum sizes but have a pretty significant rim portion. They also just look like toys imo. The fact that the aDrums deliver real shell sizes with proper rims alone make the aDrums feel more like an acoustic set imo. The emerge is also quite a bit more expensive and does in my opinion not provide the same quality of onboard sounds. I haven't actually played the emerge though so i can't for certain say that the emerge feels inferior - i just think the size and presence of acoustic shells add a lot to the overall experience.
