Not a glitch. That's just the barrier. The map can only be so big, and they won't let you go to the edge of it, so they make that barrier that throws you back. It happens anywhere around the entire map. Not just that one spot.

There is an Easter egg I found in this game. Do the map called Crater Park, and go to the hill where the bridge is. You'll see three towers. Go right next to the middle one, almost touching it, and you'll hear A radio broadcast. ITS SO COOL!

That launch you through the air happens at map boarders. On every side of every map there's a canyon and on the other side of the canyon is a little lip and then perfectly flat ground. Then it'll launch you through the air.

There is always a big dip and then hill before the outer boundary makes you fly. It is a funny touch to the game I think. I wonder if it is a circular boundary or square. I wish someone could take the camera and zoom it out so we could see the entire map.
