Just bought a new 2023 King Quad 750. Installed the front mount, have the winch but waiting for the winch mount then I still have to get the push bar and blade, all Warn Provantage II Equipment. While I don't have as much to plow, the snow plow still comes by and leaves a berm and at 67 years old, I'm done shoveling my guts out. Enjoyed your video. Happy plowing.

I just picked up a polaris 500ho for my daughter and it came with a plow. Watching this video makes it look like more of a hassle than its worth, and to just use my Ariens 30 deluxe snow blower. You got a killer machine though

@@spyder53247 Do not be discouraged by what your seeing here. I've been using an ATV/Plow combo for over thirty years on gravel and this is NOT a good example of How It's Done. I have a 400 sportsman Polaris and it could run circles around this 700? machine. Something just didn't seem right from the first second I started watching this. I can't speak to the machine he's using, but I can tell you he does not have a clue about how to do it efficiently. He's working way to hard to get it done because of it.

If you were just randomly "attacking" different sections of your driveway and make several trips around the driveway without moving any snow with the snowblower, you wouldn't be very effecient either. If you live in a city then snowblower is the way to go but if you have a large driveway and plenty of open space then a snowblower would never keep up with a 48"-60" plow. Grew up in a rural area and you can clear roads with these things. You'd look pretty silly going down a mile long driveway making a 30" cut with a snowblower lol You'd have to walk about 6 miles to plow 1

I plow 1/2 mile private rd. and driveway. It takes me 45 minutes. if the snow is 20" or more the first push goes over my blade and adds above 30 more minutes to my job, i have a Modded 48" cycle country plow on my Yamaha Kodiak 450. I Added a 5" Strip of horse mat for a snow foil and added a strip to each side making it 57" wide now. Its a Beast! I think your problem with traction is caused by the Snow plow blade mounting so far forward, Cycle country mounts under the middle of the quad. I dont get stuck!!!!!!!!

I would recommend getting tire chains with how much wheel spin you're getting. I got some diamond style v-bar chains for my rear tires, it makes a huge difference and is well worth the investment.

@markalan40262 жыл бұрын
@@BredYTOfficalHey, how do you like the tracks? My brother in law use to run tracks for plowing with his Honda 420 Rancher, he was able to build some impressive banks using them. But how are they pushing snow on ice? Any need for studs or do they still get good enough traction?
@BredYTOffical2 жыл бұрын
@@markalan4026They Get traction on ice but if The snow gets way to much it can begin to spin but i think They work alot better than wheels its pretty good in traction thats The good thing.

I have a 2021 Grizzly and just recently purchased exactly the same Plow System except with a 60" blade. Not sure if I like hooking my winch to a strap wrapped around the front racks though. Any problems with that set-up...ie bent racks etc? Nice video by the way.
@GetitDirty3 жыл бұрын
Thanks!👍 I only installed the pulley system last year. Haven't had any problems yet. I will say my winch seems to work harder having it hooking on the rack. But better control over speed to avoid the bounce when you let the winch out to drop the plow. I wait until I'm in reverse and moving before I try to lift the plow.

I have a 2021 Grizzly SE with the same set-up, except I have the 60 incher and big Zilla tires. They go through snow like crazy. I find my top mount pins keep falling out when I go over bumpy sections of the driveway. Do you have a trick to keep them in or should I start looking at other pin options ??

Do those Kolpin hand guards do a good job of keeping the cold off your hands/fingers? Or would you recommend a different brand?

How do you like the Kolpin hand guards with the mirrors?
@GetitDirty3 жыл бұрын
It's a little hard to see things behind you, have to move your body out of the way. better at night, can see the headlights. not a fan of the single mount. they don't feel sturdy. bolts that come with it are weak. I lost one of the guards on the trail, but found it on our way back.
