Its a cool idea but i think i would put the sickle under the frame directly in front of wheeler you could support both ends of bar that way and you would be mowind in front of tires so you are not running material down with Wheeler on your first pass and it would be a lot more compact

i thought of that too, i just thought the grass would pile upin front of me? plus the darn bar is 29-30 inches an the wheeler is 36. what about the weight wheel thing do u think i would need the extra inertia, may the engine wouldnt work as hard?

@@numbskullskills I think it would help if it is heavy enough to act as a flywheel but probably not necessary and it will have to be pretty well balanced or it will shake like crazy and I think you want a way to engage the belt manually so you're not starting motor under load it would work very similar to my sickle haybine

its 25lbs think thats enough, your probably right about not needing it just thought what the heck its lets though that on. who knows if ill be able to get it balanced. Thank You for chimin in hopefully youll keep it up or at least see if it works or flys apart lol.
