As always, very informative video. Going to contact the ATV Guru folks about bumper options for my Ace... I see they have a listing for the Sportsman, wondering if it will fit, even if there are some mods required.

They will certainly help you in any way they can.

Thanks for the updates. Maybe you could address the cost of the mods and accessories for us. Would love to see more trail reviews as well as reviews of ATV's, not just the SXS's. There are still a few of us ATV riders our there - just don't get the same trail riding experience with a SXS. Thanks and keep up the great information.

It is indeed amazing, I thing I love SxSs and then I go ride an ATV and suddenly I remember you need both!

I too hate stickers on my machines and I LOVE to the modified roof line...

Yep those stabilizer bars were put there for a reason. They help counteract body roll in corners, so it makes them more stable for higher speed cornering. Sure it loosens up the machine but it also makes rollovers more common when removing stabilizer bars...same goes for SUVs and pickup trucks. Do they make a hard cab for the RZRs like you can get on the Rangers? Also, what exactly is the purpose of a RZR? To me they're nothing more than a 4WD go-kart. They have no utility purpose at all correct? Hmm, the right clutch kit it should have from the factory. Never understood why these ridiculously priced machines would ever come from the factory with absolutely no engine braking...and they are still made that way.
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
True. This RZR is not setup for speed. I typically figure that for something I want to go slower and travel rough terrain in then I need more flexibility. For on-road performance I want more stability.

what would be handy is a link in the description to the parts that you are talking about. good video tho. have the same machine and am slowly getting it built up.
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
Yes it would but I figured that listing the websites in the video would be doable :-)
@GrantLylick7 жыл бұрын
It helps for sure but then I get distracted by all the other goodies I see! A direct link would be cheaper for me in the long run hehe.
@GrantLylick7 жыл бұрын
The other thing is that if you set up something with Amazon then we buy parts thru your link and you make a cut of the price. Something to think about.

So maybe I did it right after all :-)

When we had the show on conventional television I really struggled with having to give honest and tough reviews on advertiser's products. It cost me a lot! When I moved to the internet I decided to not have to deal with the distraction of potential profit again...
@coltonware56277 жыл бұрын
Honestly, do you get paid by any of these manufacturers to use their products and/or sponsored by anyone?
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
We were on conventional television from 2000 through 2009 and had sponsors. Since then we just do the website, FAceBook, and You Tube channel. No sponsors. No affiliations. Don't owe anybody anything :-) The only advertising are the Google ads that get randomly placed on the videos.

Wondering why you still use K&N filters? Pretty much all the info out there on forums etc say to not use them as they allow far more fine dust to pass that stock or other better aftermarket options like the Uni, Donaldson and R2C. There is a good bit of test data proving this also.
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
I have used the Donaldson filters and they are incredible. But, call me old-fashioned but as I say in the video, I have used K&N filters since they came out - on my desert Huskys, off-road race cars, track cars, high performance sportscars, 4x4s, ATVs and you-name-it without a single problem. And that is a lot of machines over a span of almost 50 years.

Doug, I gotta know... Will those Rock a Billy's widen the Pioneer 500? I'm think about those form my next set. Only 50 miles on p500 at this time, planning ahead. Thanks!

Also, I may street legal my P500. I'm in UT, perhaps I join you on that Gran tour of Ut....

Unfortunately yes. They only come (at last I saw) in 10x28s. You need 9x27s on the P500

That would be fun.

How is the best way to remove the decals?
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
On a hot summer day use a hair dryer or heat gun to make them pull off easier. Then use Goo Gone or WD40 to get the rest of the gum off.
@wedgewarrior717 жыл бұрын
Is your rzr still 50 inches wide?
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
No. The new RZR 900s don't even start at 50". They come from the dealership at 51 3/4". This one with these tires and the sag measures 53".
@wedgewarrior717 жыл бұрын
polaris official specs still say 50.
@ATVTVCOM7 жыл бұрын
Polaris measures from the outer wheel to outer wheel now, not the overall width including tires.
