I love my King Quad and have everything on mine you just showed,except the A arms and the shocks. I always hated the front rack so I welded a piece of expanded metal on the top and coated it with spray on bed liner. Made a world of difference. Just thought I would let you know.

Interesting. eMail me a picture ([e-mail]) when you have the chance. I have cut that silly little vertical bar off of the rear rack to make the box fit and may need to do it to the front as well.

Oops. I forgot to mention I removed the sway bar. Better tires and the removal of the sway bar makes a really big improvement. Much softer and more flexible.

Do you recommend putting a windshield on ATVs

I've tried it but I have two issues with them; 1. they are not real sturdy (at least the ones I tried). 2. they scratch too easy. The handlebar shields keep my hands warm and I've really grown to love the Scorpion helmet I use with the face shield that flips up. I think we have a product review of it on our webpage.

Additionally, in the snow or rain, visibility becomes an issue with windshields. In dry dusty climates, they are not bad IMO.

What do you recommend to polish the plastic on the Quad?...mine is starting to fade.

Yes. I've used 303 as well as other brands of plastic polish.

Thought I saw a KFI Tiger Tail on there as well !!! Could be mistaken but that is what I run on my bikes religiously!! I won't ride without one unless I ride alone witch is rarely anyway!!!

You are right. It was from before KFI started handling them. Handy product but not cheap.

Hay Doug, great videos! I got a chance to fire up a 2017 Kingquad 500 last week and could not believe how quiet and smooth the engine was. I was impressed to say the least. How is the handlebar mirror situation. My current 12 sportsman 500 renders the handlebar mirrors useless from vibration and I was wondering if the Kolpin mirrors work well on the front rack extensions. I'm planning on keeping the Sportsman but I would like to get rid of my 06 sportsman in lieu if a new kingquad.

The KQ has threaded pieces on the handlebars for mirrors. Done like that they work great.

Hi Doug - Does the Quadboss box that you are using block any access to the fuel tank?

I had to cut the upright loop off of the rear rack to slide the box back far enough so that it isn't...

I'm that way with camp but green seems to not stick out and is plastic rather than paint or wrap.

I hear yeah over the plastic v paint/wraps... I've ended up paining every ATV I've owned... they get scratched but that's ok I just clean the area off and respray it...
