+Stephen Cobb That's quite good. If you have logs with a bit bigger diameter and you can't lift'em by hand then it would be good to have a crane on it too. And not that useless one with that hand crank winch but one with a remote controlled electric or preferably hydraulic winch. Does a nice job for what it's worth!

Matt Walker I bought it from a local IKH (Isojoen KoneHalli) dealer. It is most probably made in China and has many analogues available (DR, T-Rex etc). It has a crane too but the construction sucks in my opinion so I have to modify it in the future. Trailer itself is pretty nice and I use it very often.

hello, congratulations for the channel! Does the shop selling the trailer have a website? I wanted to build it but I think the hubs complete with tires are too expensive. I wanted to buy it and modify it ;-) thanks

It's the way I did it - bought the whole trailer eventually since individual parts for it are too expensive. I bought it locally here in Estonia from a hardware store basically. You can look it up locally, too, I suspect. 👍

The wheels camber out when loaded. Nothing holds the hub from flexing outward. No axle or torsion bar to keep tires square to frame. Designed as a tandem but the single frame rail tongue could never haul the max load rating of the tires combined

What brand of trailer is this, I have seen several like it, was wanting to know your thoughts on it, I know you built a new boom for it to make it better, but curious if you had a review for it overall. Thanks in advance and have a blessed week my friend.

It doesn't have a brand. It's some generic Chinese trailer bought from European equivalent of Harbor Freight store. The steel it's made of is soft and thin walled. The main square tube that supports all of the parts is too soft. But if you change it for a thick walled square tube it fixes the problem. Other parts of the trailer's bottom half are okay. The original crane is total garbage. My crane design can be also bettered but it's much more functional than the original one and way sturdier. A remote operated winch is a must have. Don't be fooled when salesman recommends or offers a manual hand winch. It sucks. I've tried it. All in all it's worth buying if you're willing to put in the elbow grease to fix it up. But it's not comfortably usable "as is" when you buy it. At least mine wasn't. I hope this information helps. It's definitely not 100 % objective but gives you my perspective on it. Thank you smooch for taking the time to give me such detailed reply, That is basically what I thought you might say. I am currently with out a welder, so the thought of me being able to cut out a bunch of stuff and replace it and weld it up is not really good for me until I get another welder. I do appreaciet you giving me your feedback on the one you have, I figure there is basically two here in the US that sale one that looks so much like yours that there are more than likely made in the same area and more than likely would have the same issues.
