Very cool! Have you thought about making a self powered version? I'm a DIY'er and am going to build one of these using a lawn tractor transaxle powered by an electric motor. The transaxle will be above the trailers wheels like a Portal Axle, and I will use chains and sprokets that go down to a drive sprocket located at the center pivot point between the two tires. Then secondary chains/sprockets will go from the center pivot sprocket to drive each tire. The end result will be one transaxle with an open differential driving all 4 tires. The right and left side tires will be able to spin at different rates due to the differential for greatly improved steering. I'll also make it capable to be walked infront of with drive controls so it can also be used without and ATV at walking speed as a self contianed unit.

Doesn't the trailers winch drain the ATV battery alot? even if it has it's own battery it would drain quite a bit with that winch going in / out.?

Yes, it takes power, but at least the Polaris has a decent charger, so there's plenty of power.

I like the adjustments in length it allows to be really compact and long. The fact it has only two sides is also nice, I wonder if three like other models really is necessary. Now some questions and constructive criticism/feedback, why are the sides round and would need to swivel freely? I'd think square would be best so they stay in place, I don't see the advantages of it moving. I assume it's optional but sides shown @4:45 should definitely be standard I don't see why anyone would not want the flexibility of these. Maybe small logs application but I guess you wouldn't want to be limited if investing for such a trailer. This is hands down the most complete trailer I have seen with the bed and all its features but do you need to constantly add and remove the different inserts when changing between the log and bed configuration? If so something simpler would be great. The crane looks fantastic, much simpler than other design with the supporting legs on each sides. The last bit of criticisim I'd see is you're not using the right atv brand but make up by having the right tools ;) honestly it looks like a complete and very well constructed product.

Tom, those sides are round so when you hit a tree it will slide away instead of bending the Metal or getting stuck.

the rear wheels of the trawler must be further back unloaded there must be at least 80 kilos weight on the load ball about 200 kilos at least otherwise you lift the ATV vehicle and get no operation just bounces no one gets anywhere on the road the load can send you off the road as it is incorrectly distributed the load weight must be on the tow ball, not like in the movie

the weight doesn't go fully to the atv basicly the weight its on trailer wheels atv its just pullin or it hanged on atv abt 400 kilograms so not that hard for atv to pull or handel the weight :D
