I share your preference for the King Quad. I had a 500 and I still say it is the perfect ATV. I had to sell it to buy a RZR for a better ride for my wife, but if she ever decides not to ride with me any more, Im in the market for a King Quad again.

Trying to slow down a bit ;-) Front end dive depends of course on the speed and deceleration. But yes it does. That's probably the finest line in the shock tuning to get the front pliable enough without too much dive. I tend to suffer with a bit too much in order to get the rest as I like.

ABOUT TIME FOR A NEW VIDEO! I miss seeing your videos big time. About the shocks. Does your front end dive in corners being that soft?

Great tires! I run about 3 in the fronts and 3 1/2 in the rears cold. I typically air tires down until I just see the sidewall just start to pooch out - that way I know they will flex.

I have 26" ITP MudLite XTRs on the stock wheels. I just have never found the need for a clutch kit. To me all they seem to do is increase the RPMs required to get the ATV moving and increase the RPMs needed to keep it moving at a given speed.

What kind of tires are you running on yours ? And do you think they need a clutch kit if you ride 40\60 mud and trail ? Thanks for all the advice.

We'll look into it.....Seems like a good idea. Basically remove the side cover, spread the secondary clutch sheaves and replace.......

also i this king quad is more for slow rocky trails or extremely rough terrain right?

Probably be a couple weeks before it goes up. Driving it now ;-)

Doug, I have noticed you talk a lot about tires. I have a question about how much psi to run in my tires. Here is what I am working with a '12 Brute Force 750 running 25x8x12 up front 25x10x12 on the rear. They are ITP Mudlite XLs. My terrian will vary between gravel, mud, dirt, large stone (not rock crawling), and snow in the later part of the year.

Hello! I have a question for you, ATVTVCOM. What do you think about Keeway Gtx 300?
@ATVTVCOM11 жыл бұрын
Yes, slower, rougher trails. If you want to race you'll need the shocks set up differently.

Boy do I understand that dilemma....I need a RZR so I can take my special needs daughter with me, but all it usually does is remind me how much better a King Quad 50" side by Side would be ;-)

I appreciate the advice.

Found a used 2005 kingquad 700 for $3750... all stock, nothing wrong with it, other than tires... do you think it's a good deal?
@ATVTVCOM8 жыл бұрын
+coolster471 That's hard to judge without seeing it. So much depends on how clean it is, how was it maintained, hours or mileage, things like that...

I think I've never heard of it and that means something . . . .
