I love that Burgess is confused that Kev hasn't told Celeste. She automatically assumes he wouldn't lie. Kev doesn't lie to Burgess, he tells her the truth which is a sign of how strong their friendship is. And he knows she will tell him to tell Celeste. If he spoke to Adam, Adam would tell him it was fine. Kim is the friend you go to when you need to hear the right advice, not the advice you want to hear.

Atwater is the character I respect the most on this show. He pretty much keeps it real. Started out as a minor character on Chicago Fire after Voight and Dawson were introduced.

My heart really goes out for Atwater. He's more of a kind but tough character. There's a sensitive and intelligent person there that gets overlooked a little too much for me. He may be an actor but look deeper, you will see a lot of the person he probably is in real life in his acting. He's awesome.

I feel bad for Atwater. If he had told Celeste he was a cop right when he met her, most likely, the relationship would never have happened. Now, she’s discovered that he lied, the relationship might be over for good. Of all the characters on the show, Atwater is the one who deserves a good relationship the most. Burgess and Ruzek are old news, Upton and Halstead are totally miserable and Voight being in a relationship would seem too weird.

@@kimberly11091 Yeah Adam and Kim deserves better than each other, as for Kevin yes the writers need to give him much better pick for the women that they're sending him cough Vanessa the drug dealer, Celeste the one he met at the bar and so forth. The writers need to send him well remember that woman the fans wanted Serride was with when Kidd wasn't responding to his and all thought that Kelly was gonna get with her instead of Stella if she never showed up in his apartment and the way she hesitant when Serride asked her if wanted to get married but later in the next episode she changed her mind now she really does want to get married and she proved herself to be a great leader of the team. Well anyway why can't writers send Kevin that woman on Chicago Fire that was supposed have been Serride's next love interests or Vanessa Maggie's daughter on Chicago Med why Can't the writers send in those women or women like them as his love interests those women would of been a whole lot better picks for him instead of the women that they're sending him. Even Kim deserves better than the men she was interested in cough Sean, Adam and that FBI or Detective that she dated that gotten killed what's his name? And the same goes for Adam. I shipped Jay and Hayley together romantically.

@Erica Brodie I agree with what you said that Adam deserves someone better than Kim coz she's at the point of her life where she seems to be content with just being Makayla's mom and not committing to Adam. Kim just really needs to just get her head on straight and maybe have a girls night out wirh Hailey, Stella, Sylvie and Violet and these girls, esp Stella and Sylvie can all share or give advice to Kim regarding her situation with where she stands with Adam. For Kevin, I think Celeste seems to be into Kevin a lot and the same goes with Kevin but the thing is, Celeste is a activist and is anti-police and her mindset makes her think and see Kevin differently. That's kinda the problem with her, otherwise Kevin seems to be really smitten with her. Tbh, I don't see Kevin with Vanessa Taylor aka Maggie's daughter. She's problematic herself and on top of that, she's also quite young as she's still studying to be a full time resident doctor. And Maggie probably wouldn't want her daughter to get in with Kevin due to their friendship and also because Kevin is a cop and if anything happens to him while on a call, if they're a couple, Vanessa isn't allowed to treat him per hospital rules even if she wants to. Also with regards to Stella, she never hesistated with her answer to Kelly's question of "do you still want to marry me?" It was just the way they wanted it to be a cliffhanger so people would want to watch what her answer could be. Stella is so in love deeply with Kelly that she's still gonna say yes to his proposal. They're Fire's version of Jay and Hailey tbh.

@@johnty7951 Yeah I could see Kim, Stella, Violet, Sylvie, and Hayley having a girls night even Trudy well she maybe too old but she's the mother figure to all of them they can talk to Kim about Adam or any other guy she could be interested in like that new guy that's a fire fighter what's his name that has gotten fired and rehired? I don't like him too much because he seems like he was trouble or up too no good like Violet was at onetime. Just like Sylvie, Stella and Foster had a girls night at onetime and one of women at the gym told Sylvie Brett to date Matt Casey because she has romantic feelings for him.I could see Kim and Kevin in that situation between them. As for Kevin and Vanessa the reason why I've said her because I rather see Kevin with women like that than the women that the writers picked for him. Even if April was still there and was single I rather see Kevin with a woman that see him as a good man and not just as a cop and she's a lawyer or a doctor or nurse and I don't see a future together no as something more than that. I've thought that well everyone here thought that Kelly and Stella were like the verison of Adam and Kim anyway I think Matt and Sylvie are the version of Kevin and Kim they were like best friends started off that way than later on they've began to like each other as something more than friendship Sylvie Brett didn't think that way of Matt Casey because she was involved with Dawson brother Antonio and Matt was married to Dawson at onetime but looks what happened to Matt and Sylvie now.

The only ones that don't lie to each other are those three. They are my favorites because they all three have big hearts and unlike the other three they aren't keeping secrets and they would do anything for each other. If they ever found out about the Roy situation they would be upset. They aren't self righteous like a few other members of the unit.

I point that out on Twitter and their fans start attacking and saying I'm trying to divide the team lol, in reality it is the writers just like the last 2 episodes of this season. I'm glad those three arent caught up in all of that but it is hurting them, I know Kim isn't completely recovered especially since she hasn't been told.
