I do remember those days. Contracts were always in question everyone's always negotiating. Locations on site were all beautiful filming Outdoors was natural the weddings the funerals the Masquerade balls and dances fashion shows and even devul possessions, I miss everything about how the old soaps were written directed and acted. They used to give such generous generous time to tell a story in real time not at Max Speed like it is today before you can even care about anything or anyone. Soap Opera Digest Awards was huge where everyone got the recognition that they deserve. You got to see a piece of other people's work. You got to see your favorite actors and actresses come together for one common goal. Everybody was more respectful in public and in private. Oh my God James slept with Meg too? Jesus I swear he slept with every single person. What a slut. Really what was the fascination with this man? He was very dangerous is that what people are attracted to? I don't get it people will break their marriages have affairs one night stands with this man. I do not understand the fascination. He is such an ass and quite the control freak.

I have never watched As the World Turns in the 80s. I didn't come in until mid-90s. I find it fascinating how everyone is with a different person than what I know. I've only known Paul Ryan as an adult. It is nice to see him as a child. Now I understand why Barbara got together with Hal. And with all of the Peretti's on scene now I know where Katie pretty comes from. With the older Casey now I see where the younger Casey Hughes came from. I do like the older Casey but I do not know for which you speak about. I don't know how much more I have to watch until it gets to apparently the demise of Casey. I really really like the character though. Man was Lily a tight ass. Holden was extremely possessive but that's what happens when you fall in love for the first time so I understand that a little bit. I never got to see Seth so it's nice that I get to see him. I liked Franny up until her twin came along. I can't stand her twin she is a freaking statue and a robot without feelings or expressions. I can't believe Seth fell for her. I've never seen this actress play Meg before I can tell you I like Meg later on versus this Meg. Same goes for the person playing Emily. I do like this actress that plays Emily way more than the one that plays Meg. James is fantastic as always I've never seen him so young though. Wow. It's amazing how many women that man has romance at the same time and one small town. I think he's had sex with every woman at one time or another in that town of Oakdale. I've only known Duncan with Jessica so it's really weird to see him with someone else. I actually love Lisa and John's relationship. I only saw when it Tanked and he had that big Showdown where he humiliated her. Here he has a pretty decent relationship with Lucinda . Lucinda was a different person back then . John is pretty much the same . Andy is pretty much the same . While we're on the subject of Andy dixon, I absolutely understand now why he became such a hardcore alcoholic . Poor kid .. It's weird to see Hal with Margo of all people. I'm glad her and Tom get back together. I'm sorry but I will always see the lady that's playing Margo as Nora Roberts on One Life to Live although I've never watched that show but Bo and Nora were Notorious.
