I respect Doug Marland’s way of moving new characters in and anchoring them to families, but Linc didn’t work with either actor who played him.

Oakdalian I think sometimes they had too many characters. Some that they had were not developed as well as others. Some of them just didn't seem necessary. JMO.

I think the character of Linc would have worked if he hadn't been so easily duped by both his mother and then Marcy. His sudden marriage to Marcy was ridiculous and never made sense except for plot. It only made Linc seem weak-minded and weak-willed. And then the re-invention of Linc as an amoral scoundrel in 1993 was a complete rewriting/betrayal of the character.

I didn't like this Lily. Martha Byrne took time off from the soap Heather Rattrey was okay but Martha Byrne was the true Lily Walsh

I thought Lily was an overrated character in general. If she'd been written off for good she wouldn't have been missed. Spoiled and entitled, that's all she ever was.

No Kim have Chris back in 1986 she was 41 years old she look old but she is not women can have kids till the ages of 46 years old that when the eggs get dry

While guess what Tony is corect Kim was 41 back in 1986 and guess what in today's world more women are having thier first child or kids in thier early 40s in today's society. so think of it this way Doug Marland was way ahead of his time and guess what Doug Marland never did 50 year old women having kids like another world did with Rachel and Carl in 1997 when Rachel was in her her early fifties and that was too ridiculous and propesterios so stop beating up Doug Marland about Kim having a child with Bob at age 41 and by the way don't forget Sabrina Bob and Kim's daughter they had thought had died in the 1970s who turned up alive in 1986 and finally stop. You trashing that storyline is an insult to the original Chris hughes Nancy husband and Dr bobs dad who died in 1986 when Don mcglauglin died so Douglas did that storyline and had dr Bob and Kim name him Chris to honor Don mcglauglin who played dr bobs dad and was the patriarch of the Hughes family and the heart of the show as much as Nancy was. ​@@chrissyellem7397
