Yes it did but it was so great and unlike Maureen buar bill shanks chose to leave when his contract was up in February 1989 but agreed to come back for 6 months to do this story. Still such a great story.

Agreed should have kept kirk and Iva together and Andy Julie together considering what happened to Micheal David Morrison a few years later still gut wrenching to watch Micheal play caleb knowing and remembering when his drug overdose happened a few days before he was to go back to rehab.

What's up with Barbara? Dragging the suspense too long. Was she pregnant in real life or something at this time? That would account for some of the weirdness.

Yes she was pregnant and on maternity leave at the time can't remember if Colleen was pregnant with her son who died tragically a few years, ago or her daughter or one of them. Hope that helps
