annie parisse was great as well. she never gets enough credit for her performance, both before and during julia's breakdown. you really feel her pain in emotional scenes like this.

This certainly wasn't Carly's fault. Julia pretty much stole the life Carly was supposed to have. She knew darn well Jack was still in love with Carly before she married him. If it wasn't for crazy Julia, Carly wouldn't have been found by Winston and taken back to Hong Kong against her will. Julia was always evil and vindictive, trying to steal Jack from Carly, but it took a while for viewers to actually see just how crazy she really was. So glad Jack & Carly ended up back together! :)

Julia was always weak with no coping skills but David Stenbeck and the miscarriage definitely made her snap. Frankly, dealing with Carly and with Jack's infidelity didn't help. Julia II, Katie, and Janet all had their issues but they certainly didn't go insane like she did (although I think Julia II was also crazy). And I'm glad they ended up together in the end. I wonder what happened to Julia after she escaped with no consequences.

how could it be carlys fault. it was mothers nature way of saying julia wasnt ready to have a baby. she had a nervous breakdown because of the micarriage.

poor julia. at this point, all she had done "wrong" was love jack, and jack used her to get over somebody else who treated julia like garbage. carjack is one of my otps, but the whole julia #1 situation was not a good look for either of them, no matter what julia eventually ended up doing. jack by no means deserved the way julia abused him (including the rape), but julia also didn't deserve what happened to her. it's deeply sad. also john is a real asshole to carly here. i wanted to smack him.

The Julia/Jack/Carly triangle was so redundant. From day one, Julia was defined by Jack. More so than any of the other wrenches in Jack and Carly's story. They had a really hard time establishing who Julia was outside of that. I think that was part of why they had her go crazy.
