Chris Linton Official it's gonna take alot of work and roughly 2-3 yrs to get it down professional unless you have shortcut help from a pro IRL, but you can definitly do it! Anyone can that has a passion for music and motivation to get up everyday and continue scraping one project after another and starting a new one. I've been through around 300 projects and finally getting to near pro level! You can do anything you set your mind to. I'm rooting for you :)

You're blowing my fuckin mind right now. I'm new to production and watching this is incredible. I've been a guitarist for 22 years (primarily metal) and really want to be able to make this kind of music. Watching you rip through the sound design with ease is astonishing. That first growl with the filter sweep and modulated WT position is 🔥 and the first turn around growl/fill with the stutter effect is too good. I wish I was younger so I could drop everything and get educated. I'd kill to learn how to do what you do. Obviously as an artist I'd want to develop my own sound but I'm so heavily influenced by you right now. I listen to your music everyday and the song I can't stop listening to is "Another Way". I also feel like I need to ditch FL Studio and switch to Ableton. It appears that it has significantly more useful and user friendly tools. I've noticed multiple things that you did with ease that I can't figure out in FL Studio. Anyways, rant over. Love your music, man. ❤️

Don't know if you're taking requests, but man I'd love a video on how you go about your synth design in terms of chord sounds, supersaws, leads etc. Doesn't have to specific sounds, but just the general sentiment/theory/philosophy behind how you design them. They sound so much more than your average detuned saw or basic wave, and thats often where i get stuck with that sort of sound design; bass design you can just go really crazy but melodic sounds can get a bit messy that way. The chord stabs in that pack are insane.

Hey Austin, thank you so much for the tutorial! It answered a lot of issues that I have been struggling with. Can you expand on how you derived the bass growl's key at 18:39? You mentioned that it was F# due to the fact that it was the flat 6 of A#. Was wondering why you had to go through its relation to the song's key to find out the key. Thanks!
@au5music7 жыл бұрын
Freefall is in A#, the growl is from the 2nd chord of Freefall's drop, which drops down to the b6.

Have a weird request... Would you ever do a tutorial on a sound from your song “Smoke”? There’s a specific down pitched sound at 2:02 (based on the video from wobblecraft) that I’ve always wanted to learn. I tried messing with it in serum by using a comb filter and resulted in a somewhat similar effect, but nowhere near as punchy and tight as yours. Smoke was the first song I had heard of yours and I’ve been following ever since. Keep up the amazing work!
