Dr. Mpofu, you are doing a great job. Maybe your interviews must also include the ordinary people ( the unknown) because these are people who actually witness the effects of the ruling party. I am a trade unionists in a subsidiary of Eskom that is playing a very critical role at Eskom. The well known unions at this subsidiary are well protected by this subsidiary and Eskom. As a new entrant, we have become a threat. The capture is taking place currently, Zondo commission is a distraction!

How I wish ANC should invite Gogo for an inaugural lecture to one of their NEC meetings, they will learn a lot! I knew Gogo since 2013 on KZbin and fell in love with his analysis. What I would love now is his analysis on African spirituality and Christianity and this whole idea of decolonisation of education

Fully agree on the issue of the NPA, I always ask when people abafana no tatu Ndletyana bethi hayi new appointments, hayi no interference NPA is gonna do the work kwathi kwathi, my point is from my observation the NPA has been key to the survival of any anc leader and go even further to ask, give me any anc president who after gaining power never aimed for the NPA, just one? So what Ramaphosa has done isn't new, he is ensuring his dinner is safe. The WMC faction is in charge but not to cleanse the anc but each man or woman there want to keep their lunch safe, nothing else. So Basson, Ndletyana and others are in for a huge surprise.

The bone of contention in the current leadership of the ANC is the economy. There are those who are opposed to the resolutions that were taken in the NASREC Conference, resolutions that seek to give direction the reconfiguration of the economy should take. There are those who are not benefiting from the current set up, who want to see change. Those who have the ability to agitate the masses have a massive role to play. We see them on social media platforms, we see them holding press conferences in branches expressing views of the people on the ground. The phrase amandla asemasebeni has become more relevant than ever in South African politics. We are almost halfway into the 4th year after the new leadership was elected, the NEC has failed to see to it that resolutions that were taken in NASREC are implemented. We see people looking for scapegoats, singing for supper, and my prediction is the masses will have the last word. They are more wiser now than they were 30 years back. They have seen mayters fall, they have seen betrayal or dreams deferred, they have seen poverty levels rising, they have seen Socialism for the rich and Capitalism for the poor.

Hi Sizwe. Several months ago, Xoli sat with Adv. Ngcuka to discuss anything and everything from Ngcuka's tenure at the NPA up to more recent events. One of the things Ngcuka said towards the end of the discussion was that "CR is the best we have & he is doing very well in light of the very difficult circumstances under which he finds himself, we must support him." (bit of a paraphrase of course) Not withstanding his disdain for the guy (angel with horns), I'd like you to once ask Gogo Matshiqi if he'd agree with Ngcuka's sentiment. i.e. "granted that he's no angel, he has failed SA and the ANC etc..., but is there a better man for the job?" Even better if he had a name in mind. Thanks.
