Seriously, they practiced only twice in this bye week? What gives with Freeze? He is soft. If no one else needed it, the backup qbs and recievers needed the practice.

I was worried about this season, the only way this team could have had a better chance to get to 6-7 wins , would be what Kirby and Nick has done, go full pads more than they have with these young players, make the QB live for several scrimmages. However, Auburn’s Compliance won’t allow it, that’s part of our handicap, I hate to say it, but we have to practice more physical.

JMO but I think the team is ready for a QB change. They know Brown gives them the best chance of getting the ball downfield. This team needs a spark big time. Brown would definitely do that.

Hugh has been worried about everything but winning. He set the precedent last year that winning wasn't a top priority. Now this year he expects the guys that played through last year to think differently..to have a winner's mentality. Hugh poisoned that well last year. Now he can't understand why they can't "finish games."

Thorne is a pro style QB, he just cannot process fast enough to operate this style. It has to be a fast paced, quick reads offense. Not time to analyze routes, like other styles.

In regards to Hugh's statements in interviews being viewed as excuses. It is excuses, if we are honest. Every other SEC coach faces the same things.

On the "headed in the right direction" comment. I don't see any positive movement in the area that the head coach oversees. The offense has been putrid when it counts. The coaching calls haven't been much better at critical times either. Every game there is at least one, if not multiple, what the hell is Freeze thinking moments. I am not sure if top recruiting classes every year will fix the coaching issues that permeate the offensive side of the ball.?? Hopefully Hugh figures it out. He definitely doesn't have the fire I thought he had. He looks like a beaten down man. Stress will do that to you.
