I hate it for the players. They deserved to win that game. Appreciate their effort. Hugh put them in a position to win but fell just short in some coaching decisions. Run the ball. RPO is a terrible way to manage a game late. It’s not an RPO anyway. Should be called PRO because the run is not emphasized before the pass. That’s not Auburn football

@@autk well, easier said than done. The backer blitzed which triggered payton to read the hot slant. It was either bait by the backer and he was always going to drop back into coverage or Wright hit him so hard picking up his blitz that it shot him back into coverage. Can’t tell which it is, but if it was bait it was a damn genius play call. Thorne made the correct initial read, but didn’t adjust fast enough when the backer dropped. Should have been an inside zone anyway so that’s on Freeze
