I'd sit him till conference play. Purdue is a match up problem for Auburn in the front court without Broome. I think it'll be a close game and the 2 things to watch are Dylan Cardwell's foul trouble and can Chaney Johnson play better defensively than he did against Iowa St Purdue has 2 7 footers and if we're being honest I believe their best forward is Trey Kaufman-Renn who is 6'8 so they will have more depth down low this game

Purdue has no chance at winning unless braden smith drops 30-40 points. Their bigs and forwards dont match up well at all with Auburns players

The math says Auburns offense was better without Broome. They increased their already stupid efficiency rating from 129.4 to 130.7. What it means is something else. When Broome ain’t on the floor, they’re still gonna eat on offense. This Auburn team is a lot more than Johni Broome but he’s gonna probably play so Purdue is probably screwed. Also probably should mention that Auburn is better than Purdue at every assist related stat.

Broome's big importance to the team is rebounding and if we are struggling offensively we can count on him to get a bucket.

Purdue 7-4 starting center and future 1st round NBA selection out for season in game 2 this year. That's too bad this could have been the game of the year. Possibly even better than Purdue Arizona last year.
