Hey Joe! This car should be fine. Only the E350 W211 have balance shaft issues. 2003-2006 W211 have recalls for the SBC braking system, which supposedly is under a 25 year warranty.

fantastic cars. i drive a 2005 E320 with 113k miles and it really is the best. the front suspension on it is way too high for some reason, but otherwise it’s a beautiful car. i love it

The E320 didn't have the issue with the balance shaft. it was the E350 that had the issue, like '06 to '09. The E320 engine is a very robust unit.

@@JoesGoldenGarage good luck! Looks like a real gem. Check the transmission connector to make sure no leaks. If it’s leaking, you’re probably going to have an issue with the conductor plate soon.
